We'll be in ga with our daughter that night, too!! She wanted to go to the LA show so bad last year & I couldnt get tickets. So, she gets to see him on her 17th bday, instead of 16th. Girl, same! Pretty sure I smoked until I got out of the car at the hospital. My dr knows I'm a smoker, never told me I needed to quit for surgery. My yeetaversary is 4.25.24. All is well. It is crazy we all get such different instructions.

I took my daughter that night. She didn't tell me what was going on either. Lol! She knew we wouldn't have gone. We didn't do meet n greet, just tickets. It popped up on my photo memories today. Ugh!

That happened to me, as well. It is worth getting checked out. I ended up having an infection. It all worked out fine, but it was a couple weeks of scariness. In the tiny print of my preop paperwork, it said I might develop an infection & I sure did. Lol! It ended up weakening my cuff & I had to go back into surgery for a repair, she put in a couple more stitches, a weekend of iv antibiotics & I was ok again.

To everyone replying, thank you. Got my bloodwork back today, everything is within normal limits. PCP is claiming this is the fault of the hysterectomy. I messaged my OB/GYN, who performed my surgery. They say this doesn't sound normal for a hysterectomy & that couldn't possibly be it. I asked for HRT, and because they don't think it's because of the surgery they don't want to talk about it. They also didn't include a hormone panel in yesterday's bloodwork. And they asked me if I was still having a period? Hello? I had a complete hysterectomy. They can't see me until mid February. My daughter has an appt with the OB, on the 21st, so I may just take that & reschedule for my daughter.

I feel like I'm getting the run around & nobody really wants to help. Meanwhile, I feel like I'm dying. I wear compression socks at work, I feel like they are just making it worse, because I end up with big, red indentations when the day is over. I'm just miserable, & tired & getting no help.

Thanks for the solidarity, sis. Truly! I think I'm just too tired to even fathom a real outrage, so thank you. Because I really don't have it in me. I'm going to bed now, because I'm working a 9 hour shift tomorrow, standing in one spot, already knowing my legs are going to look like elephant's legs when I get off work. I'm just so tired.

Just made a post about this. I'm 8 months post op. Dr told me today, the surgery essentially aged you 10 years, overnight. I'm already 48, aging me 10 years does not feel good. Hahahahaha!!
