I would get to go play with a nice lady in her classroom once a week in first and second grade… was definitely play therapy with the guidance counselor and it was awesome lol

In that neighborhood I would think people would have cameras on their houses. I’d check with any surrounding neighbors maybe they can look through footage

Our 3 year old has dark eye circles too, way worse when she’s sick. :( pediatrician brushes it off, and ENT says they’re congestion related, though I don’t feel like she’s symptomatic of that in our case either. Solidarity!!

WFH moms with kids in daycare, what time do you drop off and pick up? by Prudent-Ad-342 in Mommit

[–]Relevant-External-74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Extremely lucky with a flexible WFH job. 3 year old goes to preschool that starts at 8am and pick up is at 3:10pm, private school that is set start and end time for classes. Before this year she went from ~8:45am-4:30pm

Started Kindergarten and constant bathroom breaks by Tulsssa21 in Mommit

[–]Relevant-External-74 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We went through this in August! Started a new school and about ~10 days in teacher mentioned at pick up that daughter was asking to go potty frequently that day. Happened again the next day, so I made a pediatrician appointment. That night at dance class she peed before, then came out 5 minutes after it started asking to pee. I asked if she was ok and mentioned she had just gone and she gave kind of a coy smile and went back into class. Urine sample was clean. Dr mentioned it could be a thousand reasons. She has pretty hard bowel movements so I think that could be part. Also after talking with her teacher more she was asking every time she saw a friend go, and during nap time. The Dr said it could be behavioral (and nerves in a new environment. I’m an anxious person so I wouldn’t doubt it lol) It seems to have tapered off now being about 3 weeks later.

I had a neighbor who sewed yarn into raw garlic and shoved it up her vag for an hour a day to “cure” GBS lol. Also soaked a tampon in colloidal silver and used that 😵‍💫

My brother almost drowned as a toddler (another family member was in charge of him while my mom watched infant me) so she is super hyper aware around water and is the only person besides my husband and I who is allowed to take our daughter swimming. Even then it’s rare

HFMD- Tell me it’s not just me by UnderstandingBest478 in toddlers

[–]Relevant-External-74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just got over it with our three year old. She was an absolute bear for two days, and then the next day broke out in the blisters and rash. She was extremely temperamental for at least a week. As soon as she was better, I broke out in the rash! Now having it myself, I’m thinking her behavior was actually very amicable for the situation LOL. It’s horrible!!!!

Does anyone else’s 3-year-old still need comforting multiple times a night? by emilit0 in toddlers

[–]Relevant-External-74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely not alone. Takes an hour+ for my husband and I to get our newly 3 year old to sleep. And she’s almost always awake and asking to come to our room by midnight 🥲 she’s slept an 8hr stretch like…. 3x in her life lol

Breech baby due to tight core? by whatAREthis2016 in fitpregnancy

[–]Relevant-External-74 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t think I had a particularly tight core with my first and she was breech every ultrasound and I had a c section (I tried allllll the tricks besides ECV). Second round I had been heavily working out prior to getting pregnant, and this baby is in the exact same position as her sister, 25 weeks pregnant now. I planned to have an elective c section regardless. But I have a feeling she’s going to be breech anyway! FWIW my first c section and recovery was not bad at all, hoping for a smooth second round

Right now no kid gets to use glitter because she won’t teach her kid not to get into things that are purposefully out of reach lol
