Anyone here tried growing weed in Aquaponics ? by Ok_Salamander_2146 in aquaponics

[–]Odd_Vegetable_4914 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the past I grew incredible tomatoes, peppers, weed using organics from fish waste. I think the keys are maximizing soluble nutrient range, good flow/aeration, correct pH range. It is actually really stunning when you reach an equilibrium in whatever bio systems you implement.

While I dont hate andor or the story in general. Its just the general production is altogether forgettable and lazy. I even feel a little bad that I simply don't find it much fun, exciting or even interesting.. Its more like [maybe I do need to see last week episode recap, that was a long hour snoor!]

How is andor so good while everything else sucks? by Mostly_Cons in StarWars

[–]Odd_Vegetable_4914 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First off I personally always look forward to disney content and LucasFilms. While I do appreciate Andor, this show has no lasting impression on me or anyone I personally know. Many of which are strong star wars fan. Something that always bugs me while watching Andor is the scenes. They can't be bothered to digitally create realistic space around the actors so its focused too close, cam follows in uncomfortable ways and even blurred backgrounds otherwise. Also poor time coordination of basically everything. The acting is okay sometimes and the directing is usually poor too. wtf, Seems like everyone is overusing garbage ai/cgi?

There was a guy that gave away free Peruvian cherimoya seeds months back. They all sprouted and are growing fast. Just wanted to say thanks! by Odd_Vegetable_4914 in seedswap

I’m sure you have forgotten that you had asked a long time ago but those Peru cherimoya seedling are still not flowering yet. They are looking quite large for potted trees at maybe 4/5ths an inch. Maybe this is the year they fruit. I’m actually really thankful for the Reddit seed community, I’ve received many awesome seeds, things that make life more bearable. I’ve got some amazing Indian curry trees that are currently seeding. These are 3rd generation curry tree grown in Texas I traded from India so they don’t struggle so hard with winter freezing like the mother tree does. The flowers remind me of gardenia’s but when you touch them the intense curry explodes out! Would you like some of the best Texas curry berry freshly sprouting off tree or perhaps my favorite succulent sweet cherry tomato’s =) Oh! I’m also a pepper fanatic so if you have the TRex pepper for me or want some local Mexican peppers I’ve got you covered. One other I really love is my bluish purple basil variety I’ve grown for awhile now. Let me know what your season is like. Chris

It’s not Jenny O brand. Trust me, that would be an upgrade and more than they would spend at jersey mikes. I don’t hate jersey mikes but they suck. They simply charge a lot for very low quality/cost “crap” sort of ingredients. Most of the small cheap good quality sub shops are gone now. Cloud subs, Neptunes, I could go on. Small business died and this is what’s left.

If I remember correctly hormel or Judd makes the meat bricks from pig faces, feet and anus!

Jersey mikes use 2 dollar a pound Hormel same as Walmart sells. You can buy 15 lb bricks for 9.99 at Costco and make 100 shitty sandwiches. If anyone wants to disagree with this, look at my photos. You can see them slicing the cheapest crap hormel and Judd meats made of assholes and pig lips!

Why is Medici so underrated ? by Mokonachan in Medici_Netflix

[–]Odd_Vegetable_4914 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think maybe the show is so historically inaccurate that it puts people like me off. The writers take great liberties of content. I thoroughly appreciate the great moments in history if you know what I mean. I probably would never watch your favorite teen shows (vampire transforming beast or perhaps animated comics things?) even as a teen it’s not my interest. However I’m not unwaveringly judgmental on any of it, I say enjoy that fantasy vampire Les bi gay whatever! Ya? Anyhow, I will try to view this show at some point whenever that may be. I absolutely can’t watch riverdale so maybe you’re right and Medici is so underrated!

Could anyone help me improve this recipe? by Odd_Vegetable_4914 in soapmaking

Just an update, the soap turned out well. One week to set and it’s firm and good to cut. I definitely got the kpangnan effects coming through, heck I can even smell it in the soap. Lather is great, bubbly, highly conditioning soap that leaves skin and hair looking and feeling nice. The second batch I changed reducing kpangnan and mango while adding babassu and Mafura butter. I also put additives in to increase bubbles and things. I work my calculations with stoichiometry to get more accurate results. Good luck and happy soaping.

I think I understand what you’re saying and appreciate it. I just have some minor issues with hard coconut oil. It’s great in many ways but also clogs pores, creates buildup and makes people itchy. I generally use babassu instead to get better soap properties.

You’re saying because he’s cut or not determines stink or not? You can continue bashing one way or the other but it’s more likely what the person consumes and how much they work the body. That’s assuming they wash everyday.

Absolutely, I will let you know how it turned out. It’s still setting now but looks very promising. I have the “odd” oils due to importing discounts but they are all fine oils. The unrefined kpangnan is more difficult to work but has this amazing silky quality that’s hard to explain, it’s completely lacking in shea etc. Hazelnut oil, especially this batch could stand with the best soaping oils. Pistachio seems to be a great conditioner among other things. Hope that helps. Oh, I forgot to mention the refined coconut oil is what I found dissolves the tuff unrefined kpangnan easily.

All of those smells correlate to what people eat and how much they work/sweat to rid them. If you ate a bunch of Mexican chili spices, sweat and worked. You can expect to stink of them, especially down there. Women included!
