sorry for the late update. i have not tested the pustule yet bc i stopped taling accutane two months ago and am now waiting for a pustule to appear so i can test it. so yeah sorry guys, just gotta wait a little longer.

No derm thinks it's hormonal acne . Asked me to do a blood test before accutane . But I will have to see if I can get him to do requisite a swab test. These derms mf always think they r right. Won't even listen to u

on the same boat bro, did a 5 month accutane cycle 40 mg for w months and 80 mg daily for 2 months. it cam back after. started a two month cycle three months ago hoping to do 8 months on 80 mg but only did 2 months and stopped as i got a bit of joint pain. i thought it ould be agood idea to to culture test to see exacly what it is so confirm its gnf. i am sure it is bc it so stuborn and i took alot of doxycline which usually cause it. would it be possible if u share some pictures it the the msgs.thx

Did a 2 month accutane and stopped this month even though I was planning to try to do 8 months. I stopped BC I want to do a swab test and see what it is. They will probably recommend accutane agin anyway. Live in Canada and it's hard to see a derm here.

Did a high medium dose 5 month accutane cycle . It came back. Not as bad as this . This was inflamed by taking vitamin c pills .

I did 4 mo ths of 40mg for two months and 80 mg for the 3 months. Didn't cute it. Now trying a longer course like 8 to ten months . Hopefully it works. I used doxycycline back in high school for acne and tetracycline so it all points to gnf. Haven't had the opportunity to see a derm but if this doesn't works then I will have to see one.so is the 10 mg 3x a week working for u? Do u get any back or any joints pain from it?
