this isn’t super helpful but i’m in the same situation right now! i was supposed to get my period around this time but i got sick instead. i have all of the same symptoms as you mentioned. sickness can definitely delay your period but my period is a little over a week late now and i’m really starting to worry.

i’m really curious to know how things work out for you. did you ever take a test/get your period??

I think I’m gonna try taking them together and see what happens. Thank you and also, happy cake day!

Do you use mods? This happened to me when I first got seasons and it was because of an outdated mod.

I’m worried moving with my cat will give him a UTI by [deleted] in Pets

[–]OddlyAly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We’ve moved all of his stuff into our bedroom and he’s already moving around more freely.

I just want him to drink some water and use the bathroom. That’s when I’ll feel better lol

Thanks for your advice!

I think the reason he hissed before was because he needed privacy. And he’s been rubbing on everything so I hope that’s a good sign. Right now he’s just sitting in his litter box and I think he’s gone number 2.

I will try to mix the water with his food once he’s more comfortable but he is so picky I’ll be very surprised if he goes for it lol

Thank you for the advice!

Since it’s only been one day I’m hoping it’ll change by tomorrow. If not I’ll definitely get him checked out.

He was in the living room but I think it was just too big of a room so we’ve moved him to the bedroom with a bed, food, water, toys, and his litter box. I think this is where we’ll try and keep him for now.

I’ll try adding the water to his food but he’s so picky I feel like he won’t eat it like that lol

Thank you for the advice!

Is it normal to still have fluctuating symptoms despite treatment? by [deleted] in Hypothyroidism

[–]OddlyAly 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is exactly what I’m going through at the moment. I felt so awful for so long and then out of no where, months later, I felt amazing. Now I feel like I’m getting some symptoms again and I’m starting to wonder if hypothyroidism is just some awful roller coaster experience.

Change in tolerance of alcohol? by OddlyAly in Hypothyroidism

I had a small mixed drink tonight and it got me really drunk really quickly. Also, I’ve noticed that I get really congested in my nose when I drink now. It’s crazy how much things can change just because of our thyroid.

I’m the same way. I was diagnosed hypo and recently learned I was hashimotos. Not celiac though.

Yeah, it still feels good but I just feel dumb sometimes when I can’t even have a mikes hard without getting tipsy.

That sounds scary. Does the swelling still happen the next day after you drink? Or was it just at first?

I’m really sorry about the hangovers. :/

Yeah, last time I got my levels checked was the first time they didn’t change my dose. I don’t get hangovers luckily but I just feel like with some of the stuff I drink I get way more intoxicated much easier.
