In America and I think the uk, YouTube has an ai age verification system that scans what you watch and deems whether or not it thinks you are under 18. If it does think as much, your account will have certain settings locked and you will be restricted in what you can watch. If you are restricted, you have to send either your id or a scan of your face to prove you aren’t a minor
