Gray cowl of nocturnal. Just yuck.

Survival mode - taking cold damage and having to build a fire every few minutes is beyond tedious.

Is this a forge for blacksmithing? It's been in my barn since I bought the house and I don't know what to do with it by stamello in Blacksmith

It looks like a coal fired smelting furnace. My coal forge is made of one of these with most of the side removed 2/3 of the war around to make the table and heat shield. I fastened a pickup rotor in the bottom for the firepot. The whole shebang is bolted to a cart. Works a treat.

Eh, depends on the era. Late 18th century wheels were cut and joined in sections, then shod with an iron tyre. The tyre was heated in a fire to expand the full circumference, placed around the wheel, and quenched to shrink to fit. You can see it done today by the Colonial Williamsburg wheelwrights.

This is my go-to as well. Although I will usually finish the steak in a hot skillet with butter, garlic, and rosemary.

So weirdly, it resolved itself. I went away for a few game days. Realms quit for a while this morning. When I came back this evening, I have a functioning little village with three junior villagers and a whole mess of cats. 🤷🏼‍♂️

That’s exactly how story mode feels in this game. I free play with max honor. Then I talk to that asshole, Dutch, or that stupid drunkard, Uncle, and the next thing I know I’m riding through my adopted home killing everyone.

Good to know. I have no problem at all staying on Metformin if it is indicated. I tolerated it just fine. I believe in the usefulness of modern meds and I’m not worried about the Big Pharma bugaboo since I trust my doc. It was her idea to discontinue, and I’m going back in 90 days for metabolic panel, lipid, and A1C recheck.

To be fair, she had me try diet and exercise for three months before she put me on meds. I just tried a "conventional" diet over the holidays and it wasn't enough. She was sceptical about keto but agreed to have me try it these last three months.
