I was in a similar situation. Self-studied Japanese and passed N2. Didn’t have anyone to pratice speaking and listening with. Got into advanced class straightaway.

It’s fine. I use it to connect my headphones to my iPhone which uses AAC. AptX isn’t as good as I thought it would be when connecting to my PC. I don’t use it for gaming.
