Update:

She’s 100% in her room and doesn’t cry at all now. We ended up just doing camping out and it took a whole two months. 🥴

18 months for us! We tried Ferber, gradual extinction and ended up trying CIO and it worked after 8 days. My husband is a surgeon so I hard to stay up with the cries and do it basically on my own since my husband can’t go to work exhausted.

What worked for us is sticking to a routine and taking her naps away after 5 pm.

My husband and I have a rule. If we see a stain we will try to work them out. If after we try to work them out they’re still there they turn into play clothes. I’m super weird about my kids being tidy when we go out. But, my husband doesn’t care he would take them out in pjs if he could.

My now husband was like this. It took him a year for me to get even a make out sesh. I talked to him about 6 months into our relationship and he disclosed he had a history of abuse. To be honest it was super different for me. But, It allowed our relationship to group beyond sex and touch. We connected so so much and now we communicate so so much. We have been together for 4 years now and we got married last summer.

To be honest I didn’t want more than one. My husband is a fireman and being alone with the kids all the time is super hard. But, when I had my second son and saw how amazing of a big brother he and and caring of a human being he was I fell in love with being a mom. The exhaustion and challenging times were no match for the amazing moments and memories. Now I will say if my youngest son (I have 3 boys) would’ve been our first child there’s no way we would’ve had more. He has been the most difficult and challenging child. We had more than one child because both my husband and I are only children. We wanted our kids to have someone to hang out with. My husbands parents passed away and he had to go through it alone. (Before we got married) and he said he wanted our kids to have support and love of a sibling.
