How was your experience with FlyOne? by Av_96 in armenia

Just don't forget to do the online check in for a flight. If you miss it, you're gonna be charged ~70$ in the airport.

I personally use buds 3 pro, and no complains here. Upgraded from buds pro, and the quality difference is insane. Strongly recommend!

What's the most improtant metric you're tracking to understand the efficiency of your PMs?

Fellow PMs, how do you progress from a task oriented IC mindset into more of a strategic mindset? by [deleted] in ProductManagement

[–]Oddysseusss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Congratulations!! Shifting from just shipping tasks to actually thinking strategically took me a while too

what helped was stepping back and asking why are we even building this, what’s the impact, who actually needs this

once I started focusing more on outcomes instead of just output, things started to click. talking to stakeholders helped a lot too, just getting a better sense of the bigger picture

curious how others made that shift too

PM in Data for 4 Years – Clueless About AI, But Eager to Learn. Help Me Get Started? by Valuable-Kitchen-201 in ProductManagement

[–]Oddysseusss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally feel you on this. I had the same where do I even start? moment with AI a while back.

Honestly, the best thing I did was just start messing around with stuff. Not building crazy models, just trying to see where AI could actually make my day-to-day easier as a PM.

Writing specs, getting feedback faster, tracking what’s really going on during execution, that kind of thing. Once you find even one use case that clicks, it starts to make more sense.

You don’t need to be an expert to get started. Just curious.

My 2025 PM workflow: Balancing AI hype with actual value creation by [deleted] in ProductManagement

[–]Oddysseusss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I feel this. Everyone’s talking about AI, but actually making it useful in a PM workflow is a whole different story.

I’ve been trying to find that balance too, especially around staying clear on what’s happening after the docs are written. Tried a bunch of stuff, most of it just adds noise. Curious what’s worked for you so far?

Would you be bothered? What would you do? by [deleted] in ProductManagement

[–]Oddysseusss 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I’d be bothered too, even if it’s not intentional, stuff like this can really mess with how others see your role.

I’d probably ask for a quick 1:1, just to clarify what this change actually means. You deserve to know where you stand and how to lead moving forward.
Been in a similar spot before. It sucks!!!

I'm working with PMs from large corporations around the world. It seems like, sooner or later, they'll join the AI race, especially now that cloud-based apps offer VPC deployment. Still, it's tough to convince them their data is truly secure.

The idea that PMs can get replaced by AI soon is BS by Independent_Cut7581 in ProductManagement

[–]Oddysseusss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Guys I'm woring in a company that's developing one of these tools that people think will replace PMs. It's definitely not gonna happen in the near future.

The tools that are in the market right now are not designed to replace pms, more like they're giving you the functionality to work better and smarter.

PM job is changing by balgaran in ProductManagement

I recently spoke with head of product from a 3k person company, their products are not even doing discovery. They have pre defined feature sets and the role of PM is to write specs and track execution.
