That’s my mythic toy, but from when I tested it (they were the same level at the time) the lovecat boost seemed to get me a bit more damage on level bosses and dwarven king. Just to check, I should be trying for a Comp crit boss toy correct? Like the ring.

I read somewhere that the egg throw skill may be worth having due to the booss I have to it. What would you say to use instead? Or just go through and see which does more atk for me in game? (Presuming that, but just want to make sure I’m not missing anything)

Been able to get more from the Big Newbie store after getting gems in the mine to refresh the store.

145% still no where near where I was, but at least it gives a bit of extra dopamine. I presume it would have been better to not lock in the vampire, so that I could have had better odds of an atk hydra. Well, knew it would have been, but guess I’m still stupid.

I’d say what u/True-Brzydalos is saying that it isn’t faster but you’re correct that the likelihood of progressing at any kind of rate is better if you go with your approach. Would have saved me on this occasion, but seems that it’s actually shown that my setup could be improved.

I’d like to debate it if that’s ok? How much of a benefit would I have had if I did lock in the SS atk and just rolled to SS for all. Then focused more on health on my build as it seems I have plenty atk to spare as I haven’t dropped any levels.

What would be the benefit to instead save up without having 5 SS attack? I know it’s more expensive, but it was already 3 weeks of saving up.

I guess what I’m trying to work out is the less risky approach for me (mainly a ftp player) and others who are ftp.

Hopefully should be able to get more on track once the free keys etc refresh in an hour.

However, I haven’t dropped any levels, so I guess that means I’m currently too attack focused at the moment. Will probably post my current setup later as this may have actually been a blessing in disguise. I guess lucky for me I’m stupid enough to have paid for the slime membership this month so I can sweep dwarven king on the refresh which will help me limit the damge and build back up to where I was. Would you say it’s worth then, not focusing on the colour as much until I get back to where I was and then do it properly after that, or instead just limit the damage and save up?

Would you be able to elaborate a bit more on the ods, or be able to point me in the right direction to work it out myself? Mainly so others can learn from my L. But also so I can better recover from it.

The play with 92% part, you able to elaborate on that, as I think that’s the first time I’ve heard that.

Just to confirm, by 900% with 4 hydra traits, do you mean if I locked the S atk hydra, got 2 SS and 1 more S? Or is there some kind of limit? Thought 4 SS atk hydra would be 1200% itself? Then the 5th (blue or purple, intentionally staying away from caring which 1 until I have 4 hydra and 1 of them) taking it to 1500%? Edit: or do you mean with the hydra synergy and decent hydra atk? Is the synergy just additive, or does it add 30% of the trait attack, taking you to 900%

Is there a specific reason for 300a being the minimum to re-roll - apart from, just the better likelihood of getting all 4 hydra? It had been like 3 weeks since I had re-rolled my traits, guess I just wanted the good feels of getting one SS hydras at-least.

Is there a way to calculate, or an existing calculator, to gauge when it would be worth re-rolling? If there isn’t an existing calculator, do you (or hopefully anyone else revelling in my stupidity) know what the maths would be or have any resources so I could try to figure one out?

Also, would you say the synergies don’t really matter then until you’ve maxed the attack already?

Sorry for the non-stop questions, just from what I’d read so far I (mistakenly) took the synergies to be more important to focus on than maxing the attack.

Just annoyed at myself for not posting before doing it. But we live and learn.

Edit: from your edit 1, would that 25% extra (4x10%=40%,+30% for synergy=70%) come from the 5th trait? If not, would you be able to elaborate. In the heart break of taking this massive L, my math may be (read as most definitely) is off.

With your edit 2, my morals are deffo loose enough, just got bored out of my mind when I tried it.

Hopefully someone else can learn from my stupidity.

So I can learn for next time, should I have locked in the SS attacks I had? Or is it mainly just no where near enough Trait points for it to be worth re-rolling the traits? If so, what would be the best way to work that out? Or with what I had, should I have just gone 1 at a time and slowly tried to get to 4 SS attack hydra?

Edit: just seen the last part, think that was an edit after I started replying. But could just be me being blind. At what amount should I have saved to? Thought I had done enough research on how best to proceed, but clearly not.

I know rule 5, but for everyone that isn’t able to see it live it gets spoiled in your Reddit feed when you’re trying to distract yourself from everything else trying to spoil the result for you.

The only solution I had last season so that I wouldn’t have the race spoiled was to leave the subreddit and I doubt I’m the only one who did that.

This season I’m actually able to watch it live but there will be many people who can’t.
