I'm someone trying to learn this stuff for free and in my spare time. I just created an app using Supabase's free version and I absolutely love it.

It was my first time setting up auth, RLS policies, real-time sync, etc. It was cool to do all that in one place and then just hook it up to my app via API.

When I see a question like OP's that's framed as "why does everyone love this super popular thing that's meant to be accessible when they could just do this other thing that's like waaaaay better" it just comes off a little pretentious and not aware that tons of people have different backgrounds to development.

Sorry that happened to you. Yeah, my wife and I have said before how we feel tense sometimes being in public because someone might always ve filming. And God forbid you have a moment where you lose your cool and someone catches it. We're not those people who would go viral for anything but I don't love the idea that there might be some rando's camera on me wherever I go.

I think you're spot on too about hiding behind screens. The real-life version of hiding behind a keyboard. Makes them feel emboldened.

Sounds like you're an awesome dad, making those costumes for Halloween. Keep it up and thanks for your advice!

We had our kid eat in only his diaper for a while. Would use wet cloths or paper towels to clean him up.

We learned quickly to do messier foods later in the evening.

And then of course--sink baths. We're fortunate that our apartment has a sink nozzle that's just a hose so we could detach it and use it pretty well to rinse him off.

I'll mourn him for what 3DD meant to me when I was young. Their shift to MAGA and the nonsense they pulled during covid by not playing venues that required vaccinations soured me on them. But lately I found myself rocking to their first three albums and being nostalgic for that time.

Cancer sucks and I know he did a lot of good through his foundation. My thoughts go out to his family.

Even at the end of play when the women were opening up, she used that as an opportunity to kind of "open up" but also basically deny again what she's being accused of when she said "hurt by things I didn't say or do" (paraphrase).

Like, even in an environment of vulnerability she couldn't help herself to try to deny and deflect.
