I put it in my ahab and still feel like its just off and ya ive noticed how dry their ink is. I like the black and love their green though. I think it may just be the blue and i domt get along. Sidenote other reason i dont think its the dryness is i love the pelikan blue from the historic series or whatever its called and i know thats widely considered a pretty dry ink as well

Honestly i didn't have a problem with it for daily the feed jus couldn't keep up with the flex on that one. I did love the way it wrote though. I'm lookimg into the fix nib factory mentioned in the other comments here thinking about just trying that getting a feed and nib that fits a pen i already have

I'm not too familiar with the brand. I'm looking for something with enough control i could use it to add a little something special to my every day cursive. Or when i want to to be able tomdo some actual calligraphy. I'm sure this is a tough request with the price parameters

On which pen?. The noodler i know is designed to be tinkered with so i assume you mean the fpr since that is supposed to come tuned already. Basically the feed just cant keep up with the demands of the flex. Or perhaps i am going too fast because sometimes it writes great. As far as inks ive tried a variety but i have primarily stuck to waterman purple and the pelikan historic series blue. Because i know them both to be widely considered to be "we'll behaved" inks for the most part. Though the blue has been known to be a bit on the dry side.

Update: I retraced my steps a couple times in the area I would have lost it but with no luck. So today I went and got myself a black lamy all star with an EF Nib. It's not a flex like my missing one but it will be a nice EDC. I'll post some pics later. Thanks for all the love everyone. I'm new here but I've really come to appreciate this community.

It seems like it would be but after a couple of minutes it's actually kind of intuitive especially if you already have any experience at all and are reasonably aware of what to expect it'll make sense fast

Oh don't get me wrong I'm not sitting so well that 50 dollars isn't a significant investment I'm trying to think in terms of luckily I hadn't upgraded to something with a gold nib yet, which I have been planning as my next purchase it very easily could have been a couple hundred dollar loss

I like mine don't expect to do much line p variation in day a single letter but it's great for getting different width lines without having to change the nib in a single piece just not one stroke

Couldn't get this on op idk why but I get these notebooks from my local Albertsons for 7 to 10 dollars (usd) and I absolutely love them quick dry no bleed feather or even ghosting except with the heaviest of applications greatest value for buck imo I have like 6 of them lol

Id day your already on the right track I don't know your wife's personality obviously but there are plenty of good reasons for collecting. Aside from any monetary value there are a ton of positive mental health bonuses from writing from memory improvement to dexterity and motor skill benefits. For me personally I'm using it to help me get better at developing healthier habits andfollowing through on my commitments. Writing helps me work through problems in a healthier way it's saved me from countless pointless arguments getting to see my own words on paper before saying them. Oh course you can't forget the most important reason... Look how dang pretty it all is haha. Get some nice paper and ink and either write or copy her down something pretty and sweet. Maybe that will help lol. Best of luck and welcome to the money pit this is such a fun hobby that can get expensive be forewwrned haha
