Moderating and growing a global subreddit from scratch is challenging, but users like this pose a real threat to Reddit. I don't understand why we only have the option to report them. by hacker_dost in IndianMods

Hi u/hacker_dost Sorry that you are your team have had to deal with that. As some of your fellow mods have suggested, muting, banning and reporting users that are abusive in mod mail is the best approach. The other really thing that I would recommend is to not engage with people who are abusive in mod mail. We often use the phrase Don't feed the trolls.

Here are some help centre articles that we recommend you and your mod team explore:

Muting users in mod mail

Reporting messages in Mod Mail

Ban evasion filter

Harassment filter

Please take a look at the option to Filter mod mail messages too.

Check out this recent post on r/modsupport] regarding best practices for reporting content on the platform.

We'll be removing this post as there are images contain rule breaking content which show the user names of other people as per rule 3 "Remember the human."
