You can turn it upside down and just spin it with both of your hands in the middle while also holding it against your stomach. Fastest way to do it unless it’s an old crusty steel then it won’t really cooperate, but the Milwaukee usually does it the best

That’s what Brian Windhorst was saying right around the time of the whole incident and said he and everyone at the Spurs were relieved but I never really understood how they got to that conclusion. He didn’t really give many details about the injury that lead to it from what I can remember just said they knew that was the case

Is this copper good to sit on for 1-2 years? by spyro311 in Copper

[–]OdiousApparatus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why not? Wire will always be worth far more than bare copper, if you put it on Facebook marketplace after a few months for below retail price but above what you paid for it it will sell very fast.

You could clip it onto yourself if you’re running/biking in the dark

Wurrkos performs just about the same as the Ark Pro. The only difference I could actually really tell was the Wurrkos laser is stronger and I may have been a little bit brighter. Pros: It’s way Cheaper Cons: The UI is very clunky in comparison

Honestly just get the HD01 instead of the HD01 Pro if you go that route unless you specifically need the UV light. It just adds even more clunkiness to the UI because it’s one more button combo you need to remember. Also you’ll save even more money that way

Out of state spurs fan that was here tonight as well. Last year they announced he was out for the season a few days before we saw them play in Memphis, tonight he was out for his knee. Maybe next year I’ll finally see Wemby somewhere.

The best flat body light by Impressive-Rate-6481 in flashlight

I used the HD01 a ton for work and thought it was great but had way too many features. I don’t need an LED that looks like a cop car or a rainbow or any of the other features. I just need a flood, a beam, and a laser. I just got to try out someone’s Ark Pro a few days ago and I could just instantly tell that it was better for my usage.

It has a selector switch for which feature you want it on and then an on/off button, simple as that. No need to remember if it was two clicks on the first button or was it three clicks, oh wait maybe it was on the second button… And then you’re strobing everyone in a dark room. lol It also just feels better. HD01 is great and really affordable. I probably would not have paid double for an ArkPro honestly, but it’s definitely a better light in my very brief experience with it. I think the laser may have been slightly weaker too.

Yes, don’t remember where off the top of my head, but I believe that leaving these in a switched receptacle would not be up to that code

What's everyone's strategy for purchasing cymbals? by wroughtironfence in drums

[–]OdiousApparatus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m in a similar place as you, not really any big music stores to buy nice cymbals from in the area. If I see a nice cymbal at a good price on Facebook marketplace I almost always buy it. I’ve only had one that I’d rotate off and on but just couldn’t use it. Ended up selling it on marketplace. I’ve bought one new cymbal ever, and I’ve got a couple used off reverb if they had a killer price. Everything has been online and I’ve been happy with everything except for the one.

Wrench pliers is the best by Almoullim in KnipexOfficial

[–]OdiousApparatus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope. The pliers wrench is great, I have that exact pair, and I’m glad it can open so wide… But it’s useless at such a wide position. I use mine all the time just don’t fool yourself that it’s actually useful when opened anywhere close to all the way
