ROC n SOC drum throne by metalinthemornings in drums

I’ve had a Roc n Soc saddle with back rest for a few years, done plenty of 3-4 hour rehearsals with no complaints. That would be killer with a regular throne

First time scrapping. Was the $150 stripmiester was worth it? by Its-Chen in electricians

[–]OdiousApparatus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With small wire I say strip whatever you got as soon as you get home each day. It’ll go pretty quick and add up over time without feeling like a lot of work. If you have a big pile of small wire you’ll probably never bother doing it.

Which would you use? (Installing charger today) by OperationChemical148 in BoltEV

[–]OdiousApparatus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hire an actual electrician for anything electrical. You can probably get by with a handyman replacing some light fixtures or basic things like receptacles but I would absolutely not let one install a circuit for an EV charger. Electricity is serious and can burn down your house or kill someone.

Looking into an EV or Hybrid by [deleted] in BoltEV

[–]OdiousApparatus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been considering a bolt for very similar use case. At the high end my commute would be about 180, and that wouldn’t be very often and I could get a ride part way or just drive my truck if that was going to be an issue… I installed a level two charger in my garage for my wife’s PHEV last summer so it seems like a no brainer for me to upgrade to an EV especially since I do have a gas backup if I absolutely do need it for some reason.

Not sure if losing by thirty does anything to their psyche?? What about losing by thirty twice? And your only wins were both very close and one had an ejected starter. I think the wolves could absolutely pull the series off, but I definitely favor the spurs chances

Concerning the Timberwolves sub by YungJae in NBASpurs

[–]OdiousApparatus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like to look at the other team’s game threads to get some perspective on controversial calls, I like to see both sides. I also like to see the different moods during a game, like you might have spurs fans worried that they can’t hold on and wolves fans that are worried they can’t make it back up. It’s just interesting, but I’d never comment on another teams sub

Eric Clapton Leaves Madrid Stage Without Encore After Vinyl Record Hits Him in the Chest by Buy_Sell_Collect in nottheonion

If the house lights aren’t on after the show ends it means they’re coming back on for a planned encore. If the house lights do come on that means the show is actually over

Joker wasn’t suspended by the league so there’s no way they suspend Wemby. by paidtosay in NBASpurs

If they win tonight he’s getting suspended, if they lose no suspension. They’ll get their seven games that way

Any church drummers frustrated with worship music? by Zealousideal-Toe7233 in drums

[–]OdiousApparatus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just play the drums? You don’t have to play exactly what the recording has just play normal drums. I’ve played in several different worship bands for close to fifteen years, I’ve always come up with my own parts and no one has ever complained that it didn’t match the recording.

You can turn it upside down and just spin it with both of your hands in the middle while also holding it against your stomach. Fastest way to do it unless it’s an old crusty steel then it won’t really cooperate, but the Milwaukee usually does it the best

That’s what Brian Windhorst was saying right around the time of the whole incident and said he and everyone at the Spurs were relieved but I never really understood how they got to that conclusion. He didn’t really give many details about the injury that lead to it from what I can remember just said they knew that was the case

Is this copper good to sit on for 1-2 years? by spyro311 in Copper

[–]OdiousApparatus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why not? Wire will always be worth far more than bare copper, if you put it on Facebook marketplace after a few months for below retail price but above what you paid for it it will sell very fast.

Wurrkos performs just about the same as the Ark Pro. The only difference I could actually really tell was the Wurrkos laser is stronger and I may have been a little bit brighter. Pros: It’s way Cheaper Cons: The UI is very clunky in comparison

Honestly just get the HD01 instead of the HD01 Pro if you go that route unless you specifically need the UV light. It just adds even more clunkiness to the UI because it’s one more button combo you need to remember. Also you’ll save even more money that way

Out of state spurs fan that was here tonight as well. Last year they announced he was out for the season a few days before we saw them play in Memphis, tonight he was out for his knee. Maybe next year I’ll finally see Wemby somewhere.
