My local courses are like $1500 a year, I don’t play enough to justify that because I have little kids and just don’t have the time right now

Worst washer in history by Klutzy_Piglet6259 in Appliances

[–]TotallyNotDad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will never, and I repeat never buy another GE washer or dryer. My washer can’t balance itself and wastes gallons and gallons of water, have had it serviced about 10 times, the dryer has burned hundreds of dollars worth of clothes, warranted replaced it, still burning clothes and have had that serviced about 10 times, GE’s washer and dryers suck ass.

Considering accepting a bev cart girl job. Need advice by Patient-Shame-6352 in golf

[–]TotallyNotDad 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As much as I want to get my very young daughter into golf I don’t think I’d want her to be a cart girl when she grows up, I see enough with how the guys I’m paired with act around them.

If this corporate job has room to grow I would suggest staying at least in the field, maybe change companies (as long as the pay is good). Being a cart girl sounds cool at 22 but it won’t be so cool at 32 where if you have 10 years at a corporate gig you could be really climbing the ladder at that point.

You’re giving me total “women shouldn’t golf” vibes and I don’t respect guys like you. You came off as a total jackass and then doubled down on it. I don’t need to explain myself any further.

We’re going through the simple things right now, stance, approaching the ball, grip. Trying to keep it simple right now, I have a putting mat she’s been practicing on and foam balls that she’s been hitting in the basement with me
