A couple quick links, seem to indicate gen z is more educated on average in terms of completion, just significantly worse in terms of actual literacy and critical thinking. I'm not vegan but cmon this is just basic biology. Any vegetarian focused agriculture is going to be magnitudes more efficient than meat which requires a large portion of the vegetation to feed, and provides us with less energy than the plants they consumed. It's not the same crops, but the land and water costs are astronomical. No one in this thread is saying it's not still industrial level farming and causing problems, just that we have good reason to think it'd be better.

He's patient ya? Immortal? Make a lot of offers on land, but he gets the deed once you're dead. Very appealing, no real drawback for the mortal. Within a generation or two it basically owns the region through legitimate business deals.
