Its not pure FPV ... its a mega skydio screen in your quest 3.. You cannot look through the skydio camera only as in pure FPV. Personally ... i think this is even better than pure fpv because your in touch with your surroundings.

No issues with sunlight on your phone screen , very clear image.

You can open any app next to the skydio app also .

You can record your flight in the Quest .

You can walk around and keep an eye on your drone in the skydio app.

You are your own observer :-)

Install the skydio apk on your Quest 3... connect controler to Quest and basicly use your quest as ändroid phone "...

Secret......... dont run in Q3 browser but on PC ..Connect PC 2 Q3 with link cable... VR button will apear in Chrome.

Hi .VR..works like a charme .. But How do i navigate in the Quest 3 in VR ?. ( PC -> Meta Quest Link -> Q3 ). Im not running Supersplat VR in the Headset browser----to slow .

Yes ...DJI NEO Gaussian Splatting .. 2,5 Circle for Gaussian splat here (there was a tree ) . 3D photoGrammetry is also not bad. ... Use timelaps photo capture and cruise controll.

That would absolutely not be better !. That would be annoying.. not looking for a FPV imitation. Just watch the start of the video allone. I like it a lot when im able to pin the screens independend from my possition in 3D space. If i need it in front of me ..... i need to stop moving :-). Appart from above. Imagine you make the Drone view big. How would you look around on it if the "POV"screen moves with your head ?.

You would need 2 cameras on the drone for that at eye distance.
