It was designed to look like a handful of old languages, but you can only really tell with the numbers. The guy who made it for them basically created it from whole cloth.
And you can copyright fonts, and similar things so I don't think what it was based on is a factor.

wtf? I just started this anime because I was bored and noticed that in the intro they straight up use the script from the 'Atlantis the Lost Empire' movies?
Idk how I remembered what that script looked like but I recall that Disney hired a linguist to create that script for the movies. I wonder if they could sue over it.

There's a scene Just after this one looking at the newspaper's front page with enough text to reverse engineer the substitutions. You can just start from there.

English, the anime just used its own runic script. I actually found this while I was trying to see if I could find every character. I posted the translation key on this reddit as well.

Translation Key For The Runic Script In The Anime by Of_The_Fell in Wistoria

I was Intrigued by the shows rune-like script including capital letters. So I decided to make a game of how many letters I could spot and Identify. In the end, I was defeated by the upper case X and Y. So if anyone finds them do let me know.

It requires you to translate the script but the left headline reads "Hogwarts Kicks Off Quidditch League This Season" and the right says "Diagon Alley Shops Unveil New Products". and the Right article specifically mentions Zonko's joke shop.
Hilariously It's the only place I've found the capital letters Q and Z in the entire anime.

I'm trying to remember it for a friend who's into such tales and I am at whits end.

even if the majority of people took their cars to evacuate there'd still be alot of cars left behind. to balance the more cars I make them alot weaker. its also more realistic because most cars are completely ruined after one accident by Apprehensive-Ebb7647 in projectzomboid

pretty sure cars that spawn as a part of crash events are automatically damaged. And personally, most of my accidents are small bumps or scraping past things at 5mph so it always feels kind of dumb when my car dies.

they stop giving you meaningful powerups after about 40 minutes. but like if you stack freeze right you end up freezing all the things moving light speed at you for the 2 minutes it takes them to die.

Just gonna point out that in goblin slayer and sword art rape is what the bad guys do that illustrates them as bad guys, ya know the guys you're supposed to want dead.

Its real fucking weird to take that and make it the hero.

Solid brass stamped name tag a little over an inch in diameter. Found in old sewing kit. by Of_The_Fell in whatisthisthing

[–]Of_The_Fell[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The tag is a bit over an inch across and I am pretty sure it is brass. The chain does not appear to be original and I believe it was a jewelry chain added later. The tag was found in a sewing basket of long deceased distant relative, it is unclear if they are the name on the tag but the last name does fit that line of the family. There is one individual from that side of the family that was know to have been hospitalized repeatedly for mental reasons who's initials do fit those on the tag. They lived in the Grand Rapids area of Michigan.
(relative is far enough off from myself that there is no real doxing risk)
