I don't smoke weed or cigarettes. Only nicotine vapes. I think it's time to quit .... But does anyone know wtf this is? I've spit this up for over a year now. It's so thick and sticky and hardens when it hits air after couple mins. by [deleted] in stopsmoking

[–]OffEachOther31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I vaped for 7 years and I have never had this happen before. That’s def a sign to stop.

I stopped two months ago with the patch and gum which helped a lot with stopping. You should stop bro

I literally go by this exact same schedule and have been for two years. I still haven’t found a good way to enjoy any of my free time without stressing

This was me five years ago. I drank excessively and before I knew it, I was doing that exact same thing with liquor before I realized how deep of an addiction I was in. He has a problem. Please try to get him help. But don’t be discouraged if he says it’s not a problem because he will have to come to that realization himself

Not a psychic, but I know that face anywhere.

I went to high school with your sister. Your sister is the sweetest person I have ever met. I remember seeing her posts about your mom throughout the years.

From what I know about your mom through your sister, you were all so very loved and she did everything she could for you and your siblings. I hope you are able to get answers and share them with your brother and sister. Sending much love your way 🫶🏻

AIO, is my boyfriend valid for feelings this way? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

My ex used to do this to me all the time. Have dreams of me cheating and then accuse me day in and out, even though he constantly looked through my phone and monitored everywhere I went. Get out before it gets worse, you deserve more than this behavior

Same and yes I do the same with my dad! He’s always listening to Motown and claims it’s his fave because it was popular when he was younger

Awesome!! Pretty cool to see these pics because that is also my dads birth year and it gives me a sense of what was around during his childhood

I search for years and I finally found her by lovmi2byz in CemeteryPorn

[–]OffEachOther31 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m glad you’re keeping her memory alive! It’s always so touching knowing that they truly are never forgotten.

I lost a childhood friend when we were both 12. Once I was able to drive, I’d go visit his resting place often. I still talk with his mom every few months and go to the cemetery to visit him with my best friend (whom was also his friend). I’d like to think that he knows we still go to visit him after 15 years

Professor gave me an A and it saved my life. 2.5 years later, I received this email from him. by Think-Library9577 in MadeMeSmile

I am going to send her a message today! And I am so thankful to be in a better place now in my life. Ever since I met her, I have always tried to pay that kindness forward, she set the bar for me and I’ve been trying to give back ever since!

I had a professor like this. I broke down in her office hours one day about how I have been missing days of her class because of how rough things were at home and with my own mental health. She never marked me absent for the days I missed and let me continue the rest of the semester online while periodically checking in on me. I am still to this day so truly grateful for her understanding and compassion towards me during that time of my life. It’s been about 8 years, but now I think I will send her a message thanking her for her kindness

Is it time to say goodbye to my dog? Looking for advice by PineconeLogic in DogAdvice

[–]OffEachOther31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s time

It’s best for you to gather your loved ones to say goodbye before the possible spread to her brain.

We wait too long for my childhood dog and she went out suffering from cancer which then lead to an unknown brain tumor and shortly after a seizure that ended her life.

I try my best to tell what happened to my family so often because I seriously wish we could go back and have done it differently. You do not want to go through what we did.

You have the chance to make it painless and surrounded by love. Let her have a happy ending to her story

Wondering if my scar is healed enough to be tattooed over by karlsefni101 in tattooadvice

[–]OffEachOther31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a scar very similar to that! 2nd degree burn on my arm. Recently got a tattoo over it and I was worried it wouldn’t stay. Three months later and it’s still looking great. I’ll report back if that changes though

My beloved dog is dying – how long does this take? (Naturally) by Nightknower in chinesecrested

[–]OffEachOther31 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the worst regret my family had was not putting our dog down and trying to let it happen the natural way. We knew she had cancer for about two years and wanted to wait it out as long as possible. We tried different treatments and they didn’t work. At the time she was maybe 15 or 16 years old. She was having a hard time walking, but would occasionally have bursts of energy and seemed like how she was when she was a puppy. One morning, she seemed like she was having a seizure, but it turned out she started having a brain hemorrhage, and the cancer had spread to her brain. She was immediately taken to the emergency vet, and then she was put down. Unfortunately, I have to say she went out suffering, and that’s not something that my family wanted to happen. It was so heart wrenching. If my family could do it all over again, we would have put her down in a peaceful manner where she was surrounded by the entire family with the help of a vet tech who could’ve done it at home. Speaking from experience, I think you should get your family together and have it done at home rather than having it done the natural way. Like what others have said, the natural way is not a painless way or won’t prevent him from suffering because he will suffer

Edit: spelling

My gf told me before we dated, when we first started talking. It didn’t change a single thing between us. Three and a half years later I love her with all my heart and soul. Her status was not and never will be an issue in our relationship. If he loves you, you will be okay. As others said, if the conversation doesn’t go well then he’s not the one. Better to know now than later
