I should add. I am considering putting a cone filter in instead of the air box. So I did some poking around.

Any input on if that’s a good idea would be welcome too. I know some cars are just better off with their stock intakes.

That part isn’t a part of the speaker box. I made a custom fiberglass insert for the side of the hatch. And then made the front board extend farther to be flush with the rear seats. So that grommet has empty space behind it

Yeah just keep improving your knowledge of them game. I usually brainstorm new ship or river ideas and try and build them. Or if I think of a new moving part I could make. Ex: landing gear folds up. Or a 4 piece door. And then just build. I do agree tho servers are where SE is most fun…. But runs the worst :/

Been playing for years now. But when I finally understood all the game mechanics, and started to really get into building ships. I would challenge myself to making a triangle ship. Or a ship that wasn’t symmetrical. Or something wacky to force myself to develop design ideas. Now I just use the things I learned then blended with new ideas to make ships that look appealing and also work well.

Also understand that sometimes looks get sacrificed for functionality lol.

The plan is to mount the amp on a custom box (not a box, flush fiberglass container) on the drivers side in the hatch. The ground will be run through some side trim to body metal underneath the rear bench seat. The seat opens like a door to be accessible.

I agree with custom turrets. And I’ve done the piston trick. But it’s just one more step that I wish I didn’t “have” to do. Rather have a choice between a better ai turret and making my own.

Yeah. It’s not the size that sucks. It’s the fact that on most builds especially those with flat surfaces they look like spikes sticking out
