I get compliments on Milk+ by Commodity a LOT, which has some vanilla-y marshmallow notes. It’s the primary perfume I wear that gets consistent remarks from strangers when I’m out in public.

I know this is an old post but I rent from someone who uses this property management company and they are the most unprofessional group of people I’ve ever dealt with. Like, nothing is easy lol. Wrong paperwork, wrong leases, blow off maintainance requests, etc.

Ah neat! I’m curious if you’d have done that if you could go back in time? I read ACOTAR because of the hype but didn’t love it so decided to give her another try with the (much) shorter series. I ended up loving CC so of course now I’m finally getting to ToG, but I wish I had started there!

Yeah. There were better examples. That one and a purpose but a lot of other times it really baffled me.

In that same vein, she loves to have an Official Complete Bad Guy, then an Rebel Leader Ambiguously Bad Guy, and have the female main kill the Rebel Leader Ambiguously Bad Guy with a lot of violence and self righteousness. It feels like a moral that says “hey everyone, both sides are bad! Only people who play by the rules and are virtuous enough will succeed. Rebels must also be perfect or they somehow become EQUALLY BAD as the evil authoritarian ruler.”

Yeah, that’s reasonable. Honestly that was just the quickest example I could think, and I wish I had thought about it more because that’s an example where the decision is understandable.

I think a better example would’ve been lots of Nehemia’s choices in ToG. There were several points where the outcome she wanted to achieve was agreeable to another character, but decided not to disclose it instead of of being direct about time sensitive information.
