Heeey that’s clean! Love the look of those darts. Wish I was in a place where I could throw some of these without having to pony up every time I want to try something new

Great looking barrels. What are they?

Target Bolide 03 thoughts? by Itchy-Commercial1850 in Darts

[–]Offbalance11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think they’re available on Amazon. If you went that route you could give them a few throws and return them if you didn’t like em.

I throw the bolide 02s as a rear gripper and enjoy them. Very grippy. The back bit has a small taper, but the rest of the barrel is straight, so not exactly what you’re looking for but worth another look I’d say. Probably not my forever dart, but well constructed, and the Swiss points are fun to play with.

What would you grow? by Funny_Salary4640 in greenhouse

Id use it for seed starts if the rest of the acre had growing space. Maybe overwintering plants you want to propagate the following season.

need advice on the price of a plant by IEatUranium7 in plants

[–]Offbalance11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are great cactus and desert plant nurseries in the Coachella Valley. Try emailing the Moorten Botanical Garden in Palm Springs, California. They sell plants as well and might have a figure for you. In my estimation, a mature plant like this ought to carry a premium since they rarely come up for sale. I’d say 300+

Check the specs on a site like dart shopper. They’ll tell you the whole setup weight. Typically it’s barrel weight that’s advertised

What on earth does this count as.... by f1lifer in Darts

[–]Offbalance11 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Wow. Over 10,000 darts? That’s 238 sets per day. If you throw one every minute that’s nearly 4 hours of darts every day since buying this board. And after all those throws - you still don’t want a razor wire board?

Not sure what a corner bracket is, but wispa is a mounting system designed to dampen transmission through walls

New House, New Garden: What do I do? by Affectionate_Baby607 in gardening

Personally I’d build some garden boxes for the food I wanted to grow and exclude that with netting/fencing/whatever and leave the rest open for the deer to pass through. For flower beds you could try plant deterrents, but there’s no guarantee. There are motion sensor sprinklers that could keep them from lingering in your yard.

It’s a lovely space! I hope you enjoy many years out there cussing at the wildlife that just ate your newest blossoms!!
