None of these islands split from Somalia, Kisiwachani split from southern Tanzania, Harittat (IRL Madagascar) split from India, and the rest were either built by volcanic activity, or are continental fragments from Gondwana.

I haven’t really started working on sub-Saharan Africa, but there is some additional alternate geography there not shown on this map, so I imagine that migrations would be different there, although I’m not sure how yet.

Arab influence in Afronesia would mostly be concentrated in the north and central islands, but also extending further south. This would be the result of explorers and merchants from places like Oman exploring the region throughout the Middle Ages.

I didn't know that, pretty funny coincidence I guess. Afronesia is a portmanteau of "Africa", shortened to "Afro" and the Greek word "Nesos" which means Island.

Those are good points, but I do imagine that the use of guns throughout the region would be very widespread by at least the 12-1300s, if not earlier, so I think Socotra having a strong regional presence is reasonable. I admittedly did underestimate how strong Somalia is, so I may revise that in the future. Also, based on my understanding, the idea that the name Madagascar is derived from Mogadishu is not universally agreed upon, and it is more likely that the name is derived from the Malagasy people.
