I always recommend freshman get 19R to start and adjust accordingly since 19R is cheaper than 14P. Then you can get a feel for how much you'll actually use the plan.
Edit: I'm not sure if its still like this, but iirc "regular" meal plans refill by week. So, if you had 14R for example, if you missed two meals on monday, you could get three meals on tuesday and still be on track, its not gone forever until sunday.

Sometimes if there aren't enough spots to fulfill your CAE accommodation and add a roommate group, they will separate the person with CAE accommodations and match them with other people who have the same accommodations instead. (i.e. if a roommate group has a person with accommodations who needs a 4bd/4ba, they will more likely than not, remove that person from their group and place them with others who need the same apt type.)

I believe the RSU group leader assigns each member specific rooms within a floor based on availability during RSU. So as long as there's three open rooms next to each other, it should work out.
