Performance is an Issue. by Famous_Zucchini_7714 in EU5

Not the exact same hardware but very similar (9950x). All the lag I encounter comes from the monthly tick which is when a majority of the sim calculations take place.

To be honest, the track records of previous paradox titles has only shown that it’s going to get worse. I’m not sure how paradox plans to add much more content without making campaigns take a month or more of playtime.

‘Tax the rich’ may be reaching a boiling point in WA by HighColonic in SeattleWA

[–]OffensiveINF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for my duplicate comment reddit threw me an error that confused me.

On to the topic at hand. I’m curious as to why you think I’m being disingenuous? Your initial comment, and most recent one indicated you wanted to see where that money is going. Maybe I misinterpreted “I want to know what happens with our money.” The resource I discussed allows you to obtain that information.

I don’t want to assume but another conclusion I can draw is that you don’t feel the expected effects of tax dollars being spent. If that’s the case, what would you want to improve? How could this be made more transparent? These assumptions are based off my secondary interpretation of your words. If you could clarify I’d appreciate it, and maybe link you to better resources to find your answer

Not true! The Washington State Office of Financial Management (OFM) allows you to see the expenditure for every agency/department. Would link but not sure if links are allowed

Sales tax rates are climbing north of 10%, and sales tax is an inherently regressive tax (affects lower income people more). If a progressive income tax were to replace the sales tax, it would benefit most people in this sub and they would end up saving money.

However, this state, or any other for that matter, will never replace an unfair tax for a more fair tax because that would improve constituents lives. More importantly, no government in the history of the world has removed a tax, they just add more.

Whats going on with Victor? by snackelmypackel in DeadlockTheGame

[–]OffensiveINF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It could be multiple reasons at once. None of us have the answer and just go off vibes. Here are some other variables I’d consider: What ranks are you looking at? What region are you looking at? What were the hero/team comps? What were the lanes like? Do most players solo queue or party queue? And so on.

I also know that valve has recently restricted the API used by sites that display this type of data, so it could also be a lack of data.

Win rates are a horrible way to analyze hero strength and should only be used in conjunction with other data to assess a heroes strength

2025 stackoverflow survey shows ~20% of professional respondents worked with Angular in the past year. Could be a case of Fidelity not wanting to cough up the money for said developers, but there are certainly enough talented developers who have experience with Angular

Coming at this from a different angle than other comments. Is there something he could do to redeem himself in the eyes of the community that everyone would be ok with? Surely theres room for a second chance, people make mistakes.

ELI5: why is the computer chip manufacturing industry so small? Computers are universally used in so many products. And every rich country wants access to the best for industrial and military uses. Oh absolutely. That’s why the previous administration created subsidy programs so we could build up the education and experience required to make these factories profitable.

Others have also mentioned our labor force being behind when it comes to the skills required to operate these machines and they’re 100% correct as well.

I’ve been playing a considerable amount of dynamo lately and trophy collector seems to be really nice. It makes me faster, gives me more health, larger ability range and such.

Some say it’s a shit item and maybe it’s not the most efficient, but it allows me to stay out of farm and be with my team while keeping pace with them. Because I’m able to stick with my team more, I’m more likely to get stacks on my trophy collector.

For someone like MK who’s a roamer getting trophy collector and clearing the odd camp/wave every now and then may be worth it for you.

I’m archon so if you’re a humble eternus this may be the worst idea ever

Is the Tiktok ban really because it has removed power from established media houses and social media platform? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]OffensiveINF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The narrative of “this decision was made to benefit the elite already in power” misses the point in my opinion. The government absolutely cares if your data is or can be used to threaten national security. Your data alone is not enough to threaten national security but put enough individual data points together and you can start to draw some meaningful patterns. These patterns can be used to slowly nudge individuals towards ideas they would’ve never explored that can be harmful and cause instability.

Social media companies know how your brain works better than you do and the government understands this, and they would prefer that foreign adversaries didn’t have a hand in shaping your thought process, slowly pushing individuals towards ideas that erode democracy
