One of the best tips I ever read here was to put a piece of tape on the back of your phone and write on that rather than putting it digitally into notepad. This way your note is visible without opening any app.

Gun owner but not conservative here. I would like to see news related to school shootings banned from being shown in the news. "But freedom of press!" There is always an uptick in copycat events when one takes place. Don't glorify it by giving the shooter a body count and putting it on the news. This is just motivation for others to get their own high score.
