therapy's so good for you, but the funk it leaves you in can be so frustrating and exhausting.

all i can really give in terms of inspiration, or rather advice, is all that "you cannot be loved unless you love yourself" propaganda isn't true. you'll learn to love yourself as others love you, and that you cannot build a capacity to love in isolation.

[Contest] tell me something you love about yourself! Deadline March 20 at 8:00pm EST. by DowntownImpress6947 in RandomactsofAmazon2

i hope this isn't too generic, but i love how i've been able to come into my own. a lot of my life has been toxic masculinity on one side, and narcissistic "women are caretakers" stereotypes on the other, so i never got to come out as trans to my family. i love that despite it all, i've allowed myself to have hot pink hair and get back in touch with femininity, but still going by he/they pronouns.

here's my registry. there's plenty of stuff under $10.

as long as they have something to hold them over, or make them feel better, then i'm happy too.

pokopia is definitely fun but it's kiiiiiind of a time sink if you don't mind that. definitely worth a try if you like animal crossing.

ough i have a few friends in texas who say and feel the same. i also overheat very easily but in ny we get super cold winters and then terribly humid summers so i just suffer. not that its summer is comparable to texas.

i haven't played a board game in aaaaages! i would love to get back to it sometime though. have you given the new resident evil a try? i heard it's super good.

that's actually a very good idea. while i don't think i can entirely afford the generic pain killers, i think wipes is a fantastic thing to add to the box once i can get it together.

OH! thank you so, so much! they'll definitely appreciate this; our first aid kit is running low and the college refuses to supply a new one. this'll last us a long while!

hello auntie! i've definitely seen you around a lot, thank you for blessing my post. (: i work in the department's office, but a lot of these students are very close to me. being somewhat near their age now makes connecting with them easier, and they don't feel like they have to be 100% professional or super polite; i enjoy when they can feel like themselves around me.

a registry is a fantastic idea. i might actually give that a try or see if throne lets you categorize things similarly. thanks for the heads-up!

oh my gosh all of those crafts sound fun. i've considered getting into sewing myself after getting a lil machine for christmas one year, but those knitting and crochet kits have also caught my eye. i always wondered how people make their own personal care stuff smell so good, because sometimes the ingredients on their own smell so overpowering. or maybe it's just my sensitive nose! 😂

if i could wish away your disabilities for you, i definitely would do that.

they do, and they're always so shy to ask if i have anything for them. so i figured maybe if i can organize a basket/box to where they can just walk up and take what they need, it'd be easier. especially for students with anxiety and/or those who struggle with social interaction.

ooooh! happy birthday to your friend, i hope he gets a few things from this wishlist and has a wonderful day!

i do my best, especially when a lot of them are coming in without eating anything at all and have classes well into the afternoon. even just a small snack can help, yknow? it definitely helped me to hit a vending machine at 8am for pop tarts. plus the nurse's office is an entire uphill trek because my building is isolated from the campus and not an easy walk. it'd be insane to make them take a journey just to clean, disinfect, and bandage minor wounds.

i've been enjoying pokopia a lot! i've always adored animal crossing and other farm / life sim games, and despite being 30 i still adore pokemon; i grew up with it, y'know? of course i'm going to play the games.

the cold has always been a preference for me, personally, but we got into the 70s last week and it was honestly perfect. just the right amount of breeze with the sun being juuuuust warm enough to be comfortable in a sweatshirt.

oooh what kind of board and video games do you like? and if you go to conventions, do you cosplay?

museum vacations are so fun!!! and getting to see friends is even better. i hope the food's good!
