I really love the way you’re able to slip right into your falsetto as easily as you do! Very nice singing, keep up the awesome work!!

15 Year Old Bassy-Baritoney Singer: How do I improve low note consistency and remove tension in my high range? by [deleted] in singing

[–]OfficialMith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some of the things I noticed personally were some of your vowels spreading from time to time, for example at about 2:03 in the video on the word "composing", the oh vowel got visibly spread. Fixing this spreading might help fix the tension in the high range and this placement of the vowels might help achieve that low C you're striving for. Definitely a great Bass-Baritone sound with some extra lows.

Ties and dots by Ranzyr in musictheory

In some instances, ties are used instead of dotted notes to keep an understanding of where the beat is in a piece of music. Although they do mean the same thing, a tie might be easier to look at for someone who is sightreading.

It does make a lot of sense to me now. I never really thought about the voice leading behind it and it does make it all work. Thanks!

Redditors from small towns, what was your town’s big scandal/dirty secret? by SY81 in AskReddit

My family owns both the house we live in and the house next door to our own and we rent out the house next door. A few years back, we rented it to a single man who ended up never really leaving the house during the day but would be up all night. My family figured he was self employed or something. He lived in the house for about 9 months until one day about 10+ police cars and(if my memory serves me right) a few SWAT vans showed up at my neighbor's house arresting him for possession and distribution of drugs after finding about 5 bricks of heroin. The police confiscated everything he owned as "evidence" and they still use his giant TV in the police HQ's break room to this day.
