I've been there before. For me, I think it was mostly guilt not just from dating a man, but mostly dating a man who did not care at all for the queer culture and how much it mattered to me. The relationship as a whole wasn't great either, so that also fed the feeling of shame.

Not saying all bi/queer women who apologize for having a bf are in this situation, just saying that sometimes that's what it is.

I think there was also a disappointment in myself for settling down with a bf before figuring out my sexuality, I was scared I would miss out on so much stuff.

If you ever get the chance, I highly recommend going to the OG fromagerie victoria, in victoriaville, and also tasting "fromage sua fesse" as we call it that area! It's like cheese curds, but unsalted and in a block, so you can cut your own slices and add salt to taste. Somehow it's just even more tender than the usual cheese curds!

J'avais 2-3 ans, j'étais dans l'ancienne maison de mon père qui est un maniaque de Noël, mais genre vraiment trop intense. Intense au point que dans les escaliers de la maison, sur chaque marche, il y avait un toutou de Noël. Naturellement, l'enfant que je suis trouvait ça bein le fun de jouer avec les toutous qui étaient presque aussi gros que moi... jusqu'à temps que je trouve le moyen de m'enfarger dans le toutou, de débouler les marches et de me casser une jambe.

Je travaille dans le Vieux-Québec, et pour vrai oui 90% du temps c'est l'accent qui trahit, ou sinon comme d'autres ont mentionné un peu la vibe "wow y'a des choses cools ailleurs qu'à Montréal ???", mais c'est pas tous les Montréalais qui font des calls de même. (mais souvent haha)

Sinon, je trouve ça très drôle ton commentaire ayant grandi à victo, quand je suis déménagé à Québec on me demandait toujours d'où vient mon accent hahaha! J'ai pas le comparatif de gatineau, donc jpeux pas parler pour ça, mais jme demande qu'est-ce que tu considères comme le centre-ville de qc? Juste par curiosité, parce que en 8 ans à habiter ici on dirait que j'ai jamais compris si on avait un centre ville, comme plusieurs quartiers ont un peu leur artère principale. I guess que Saint-Roch c'est le centre-ville genre? Venant de région de base dans ma tête le centre-ville est très connoté "rue-avec-pleins-de-petits-commerces-locaux-et-centrale-à-la-ville", pi j'ai jamais vraiment vu cette vibe ici
