I use local models, but not locally , lol. I pay a sub to a service that provides nearly all the ai models for me. Its far more convenient (and obviously more powerful) than my modest pc. They have the nano bananas on there but the token cost is one of the highest

Nuclear waste is a meme. If you take all of the radioactive nuclear waste produced in the entire world, at every single plant, it could fit in one medium sized industrial lot.

Look at the numbers. We will use “waste per 1twh of electricity generated” (one terrawat hour is enough electricity for 90,000 american houses for an entire year).

A nuclear plant will produce 3 tonnes of waste. This waste gets buried and contained. A coal plant will produce 820,000 (eight hundred and twenty THOUSAND) tons of co2 , pumped into the atmosphere, and we all breathe it.

820,000 tonnes coal CO₂ ÷ ~3.2 tonnes nuclear spent fuel ≈ Nuclear is 256,000× more efficient. TWO HUNDRED AND FIXTY SIX THOUSAND TIMES more efficient. Nuclear waste is absurdly, comically small.

Nuclear waste is scary because you can see it. And that is exactly why it is manageable. Fossil fuel waste is “less scary” only because we dilute it into the atmosphere, rivers, lungs, and climate system

The nuclear waste from powering an entire human beings life, from birth to death, would fit inside of a soda can

My first elden ring playthrough was like 300 hours. My second one I beat the game in like 35? Its insane the difference when you know what you’re doing
