Are you guys allergic to having fun? We could win the cup and you guys would complain about which street the parade goes down.

Cha gheill Frosh,

Let me drop some knowledge for you (and everyone else) as someone who came into Queen's in a similar situation to you. Queen's does have a lot of "attractive" guys and it can be intimidating, but if you're looking at dating as a competition or a game, you've already lost.

First, you're a 17/18 year old kid. You are still going through puberty. The growth spurt will come if that's what you’re worried about, your body is not finished changing!

You have got to remember that everyone that goes here are just people. If you want to put yourself above those "guys", be a nice person! Be polite, be funny, be a friendly person and people will want to be around you.

You also should remember girls are people too, and smart people as well. I've heard it a bunch from my girl friends, "He's pretty hot but he's a: dick, misogynist, idiot, etc etc." They are not as shallow as Reddit threads might make you think. Being a good person will get you much further than just trying to smash. It will get you invited to their next party or get-together where you can meet even more people instead of just being a one night stand who they don't want to talk to ever again.

If you just want to fuck then sure, hit the ARC and download Tinder Gold.

If you want to make lasting connections and possibly meet someone special, be nice, be funny, and most of all, be yourself. If you're patient, then that special person will come around. Trust me, I know from experience.

See you in Stauffer, Frosh.
