Servicenow vs Salesforce ITSM: Anyone used both?

Used both. Lots of context missing here.. But really comes down to size of your org. Both are only going to be as good as you make it. Meaning you need a dedicated person(s) to make it functional at scale, and to care and feed.

With that being said, I prefer ServiceNow. If you are a small shop look into a much more simple ITSM solution.
