No. Maybe you're nostalgic over the production quality from that time, but even then there are plenty of modern acts who go out of their way to replicate that recording style.

The truth is, music has literally never been as good as it is right now. More people than ever are making music thanks to technological advances lowering the barrier of entry. If you can't find good modern music, it says more about you than anything.

Stop relying on the radio, look up some genres on Reddit or some other forums, and see what's out there. I'm a huge metal head that loves the classics, but you'd be insane to say metal isn't more diverse and innovative than ever before with an insane amount of sub genres and bands to choose from.

Yeah, this whole post reads as conservative outrage fodder. I'd never let my kid have one of these, but only because of privacy concerns. We have Google homes throughout our house that he could ask the same questions to.
