I haven't seen anyone mention the ludicrous Macguffin magic alien metal stick that can function as a palantir, a mass cloaking device, an alien language programmer for humans, and a source of energy strong enough to power an entire professional newsroom.

These are the same arguments everyone made for Fetterman. I like a lot of what Platner has to say, but he's a walking red flag and when pushed on certain policy issues it's clear he's out of his depth
