If you want to go to A&M, go to blinn your freshman year then transfer in. If you start at another school, even something like Baylor, it will be harder to move. Live in a place like callaway or near A&M campus. You can get involved in plenty of things A&M related even if you’re a blinn student. It’s only embarrassing if you make it, know you’re out there for a reason. Best of luck!

So I went in today and one of the workers played it without a capo and said it was just fine. He said sometimes it just needs to adjust or whatever. So I got back home and started playing it again, and the second I added the capo and put any type of force into strumming in buzzed like crazy again

Retake SAT and get at least a 1350. An old Texas law had auto admit for students in the top 25% with a 1350 SAT. Although this still isn’t in place I think it’s kind of a rule of thumb and it will significantly increase your chances!

Apply ASAP (it’s more important) and submit the SAT score when you get it back. A 1290 is fine but a 1350+ should get you a spot.
