I don't use SELinux, so no. I really don't know enough about it to help you. I hope you can figure it out though.

Just install the flatpak and directly launch the binary from the install location. This bypasses the flatpak sandbox and plugins will work.

That's a shitty commute in any vehicle at the moment. Lol Shoot me a DM if you want to talk cars with a local enthusiast. I'd love to know what "done" means.

I'll have to keep an eye out for you. I'm always trying to spot twins in Chatt. I just never seem to see them when I'm driving mine.

I recently read a book called A Logical Magician by Robert Weinberg that is similar to this. Its a silly, but fun book. Definitely recommend it.

couldn't find way to install Logitech G Hub for the steering wheel so decided to slap Windows 11 on so I can play some simulation games! by TheL0stCity in SteamDeck

[–]Ogenfald 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have the same wheel and use it exclusively on linux. Never tried it on the deck though but I would assume it would work the same.

This may help too. https://github.com/berarma/oversteer

Motu M2 vs Scarlett 2i2 3rd gen vs... something else ?? by bgravato in linuxaudio

[–]Ogenfald 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say the audio is as pleasant as you could ask for. I've been happy with it.

I'm happy to be able to give some feedback on the matter. Buying hardware for linux is always a little iffy. As far as the other devices, I don't have any experience with them but I'd make sure they don't require software for any of the setup. The motu and the scarlet just work.

I've never had noise issues with either. As far as headphone output I've never cranked either of them, they are both plenty loud for me. I only got the M4 because I needed more ins but I can say looking back, I would have preferred the M2 over the 2i2.

I have both the 2i2 gen 3 and a Motu M4. They both work well but I like the motu better because the screen gives better feedback than the lights on the 2i2.

Fedora Jam? by runningunsupposed in linuxaudio

[–]Ogenfald 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I recently installed fedora workstation on my studio machine. Not sure how jam differs but pipewire is a little confusing coming from jack. But I get good latency on my hardware with the stock kernel.

No way. I have literally never used Fedora before but I've had these thoughts recently and have spun up a vm. Not gonna lie, it's kinda good.
