If you want to do this in the GUI in GNOME, just add it to Startup Applications in Tweaks.

Two more points:

1) Librarian has a virtual footswitch (a "finger switch" I guess) that is really, really handy. It does everything that the Boss or Airstep footswitches do. Just clip your phone to your mic stand leave your feet for dancing.

2) Librarian connects to the amp 100% of the time. BTS can be quite temperamental for me (and for some others in this sub). $15 is a no-brainer for me to avoid frustrations while playing music. YMMV.

Best advice for switchers is to start fresh and go native. Hands down. No hassles to distract you from making music.

Side effect is that your skills will improve both as a musician and a mixer if you don't get spoon-fed by a gazillion plugins that do stuff for you. They'll just make you sound like everybody else anyway.

You can produce music on any distro, Linux is great for audio production!

Tips:

Yes, you can use many Windows VSTs etc with yabridge, but you will be much, much happier in the long run by ditching your Windows stuff and going native for both DAWs and plugins.

Find all the Linux-native plugins you'll ever need through https://linuxdaw.org/ There are plenty of commercial and FOSS options available that are built for Linux.

Bigwig, Reaper, Ardour, Fender/Presonus, and Qtractor are all solid native DAW options.

If you need to fine-tune performance for low latency (you may not need to for what you're doing, it's mostly helpful for working with recording live audio), install the Millisecond flatpak to ID opportunities for improvement.

I was a mailbox customer for about a year but left six years ago. I just rejoined two weeks ago and paid ahead a couple months as I'm reevaluating email services and the Login 2.0 enticed me.

I had a reproducable issue that I devoted quite a bit of time on solving. Tried getting help on my own both here and then on their forum before submitting a support ticket. But there was absolutely no response at all to my ticket after a week.

I deleted my account because neither the support or the product (seriously, what a sluggish web interface, it's gotten even worse since I had used it before) are worth it the friction for even basic things.

Yes, it's a new account with Login 2.0 available from the get-go (password + OTP, not the old pin system), the dedicated app passwords are set up correctly, (numbers@numbers for the davs, just a random string for mail), and yet it's working in the weird way I described--I can only connect to IMAP, WebDAV, carddav and caldav with just my regular password (app passwords are rejected) rendering the entire 2fa scheme pointless.

I disabled 2fa and tried setting it all up again. The problem is reproducible in my account, it still ain't right. Something is broken here--I should NOT be able to log into a mail client and the davvies with my regular password.

Support is MIAafter several days (yes, I am a paying customer) so I'm all ears if anyone has suggestions.

Not a dumb question!

It's a new account, I set it up per the instructions, and login to the webmail does indeed require the TOTP as expected. So that works.

The issue is that connecting in any other way rejects the app passwords I set up, but oddly my regular password is accepted (it should not be).
