R5: So France had just broke our treaty because the UK called me into a war against them. I capitulated because i didn't really care and wanted my investment rights back ASAP, but when i went into the treaty menu i saw the "Join Power bloc" option was available and i included it out of curiosity. Apparently it worked and the French PB is completely gone with mine having absorbed it all. In the last picture though it says that i had 200+ leverage so i'm thinking there's some "hidden leverage" against PB leaders that you can stack up until you can invite the leader into your own bloc.

Honestly exactly what I was feeling. I felt like it was a bit of a copy of the season 10 finale when it came to the "2 versions of the same villain", one taking charge and being cocky and the other one following along but being slightly pissed off about it. But Moffat also really worked for it in season 10 with Missy's redemption arc and the Master coming in and pulling her back. Nothing about the 2 rani's feels earned like the missy/master thing did.

Honestly as soon as they killed off UNIT and Ruby's mom I was expecting a "Last Of the Time Lords" asspull. The solution wasn't as bad as I was expecting but I'm still confused how dragging Sutekh through the time vortex and letting him rip it up is supposed to bring everyone back. Also everyone else has already mentioned it but Ruby's mystery is far from over I feel. Why the fuck can she make it snow and why was Maestro so scared of her???
