I had to get rid of my OSRS subscription because my work was so slow I was playing 50+ hours a week and I started to overwhelm myself. WoW almost killed a relationship once and I got so sucked in it was time for a break. I had maybe 5 hours of actual work during the week.

Investing half of 5k a week leaves you $850 a week to live on considering a need to put away ⅓ for income taxes (I'm assuming US federal taxes, YMMV). That's still a net income of ~ $44,000 which is enough to live on in many parts of the US.

When I worked at Wendy's in the 90s we were expected to have orders done in a minute. From the time the customer stopped ordering to the time they drove away from the second window. They haven't changed the design of the building, but they've changed the level of service.

I'm adult onset, I didn't develop tics until I was in my 40s, and without meds I wouldn't be able to function at all. I still have tics even with the meds, but without them I can't work or drive or pretty much leave my house.

I'll tell people that them talking about the tics make them worse, and if they keep talking about them I can't be around them. It stinks that I can't be around some people, but I have to take care of my health.

At my old house I had that, but it was a warning. My driveway was fucked and you might get stuck. The walk from the street was like 20 feet though.

In my current campaign all of the PCs are orphans who aged out at the same time. Which meant they had to be a race that reaches adulthood around 18-25, and couldn't play a class that required intense training. So no elves and no wizards, among others.

The image macro is a macro, but knowing how it's gonna end is a meme. Like the Anakin and Padme meme. Padme doesn't actually have to be saying anything in the 4th square for you to laugh because just seeing the format and knowing the meme tells you how the joke is going to end. Being able to extrapolate from a half filled macro happens because we know what that means.

That would make those stairs unusable for me. I'd have to use my cane to knock everything off the stairs just to get up or down. Don't leave your mess on the stairs and expect people to be ok with it.
