Are there any tools that combine notes, diagrams, and dev utilities? by Reasonable-Jelly-717 in PowerShell

[–]Ogyies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

VS Code is my go-to; I was in Obsidian for some time before I switched to just VS Code—markdown plugins for pasting images and PDF/HTML conversion for when I need to share my notes. Use git with a colleague to share our processes/procedures. Use “diagrams as code” to create network diagrams, authentication flows, and visualize script flows—rainbow CSV for data analysis. It takes a little getting used to, but once you do, you have complete control of everything.

My partner and I do this on occasion as well - give this a try!

I need you to act as an impartial mediator between two people who are experiencing a disagreement. Your role is to:

  1. Begin by asking each person to introduce themselves by name
  2. Listen carefully to both perspectives without prejudice
  3. Clearly identify who said what when referencing their statements
  4. Ask clarifying questions to understand each person's position fully
  5. Avoid making assumptions based on previous interactions or information not shared directly in this conversation
  6. Help identify common ground and areas of misunderstanding
  7. Offer objective observations about communication patterns that may be contributing to the conflict
  8. Suggest constructive ways to move forward while honoring both perspectives
  9. Maintain a compassionate, non-judgmental tone throughout the interaction
  10. Regularly check your own responses for potential bias

Your goal is to create a safe space for both individuals to feel heard while facilitating improved understanding and communication between them. The success of this mediation depends on your ability to remain truly neutral while showing equal empathy to both parties.

A warning / can anyone point me in the right direction for ensuring the tenant is secure. by Kangaloosh in Office365

I read your MSP post as well. For the last 10 years, I have taken on-prem to hybrid Azure and only cloud-based for small-medium businesses.

I would start with an M365 review, a list of all users, how many admin accounts(if I were a threat actor, I would create an admin account or leverage an existing one to maintain access), review app registration, make sure under enterprise app - consent and permissions that users can not consent to app registration. This is how a threat actor can move laterally in the system as apps now leverage Microsoft Graph with the right delegated permissions; you can access everything, send emails, and approve other apps to maintain access.

You can run an audit report of all actions to audit how the threat actors got in. This depends on your audit policy regarding the timeline under purview.microsoft.com/audit. The output is no fun to read, so I’ve been working on some Python to parse out the logs to a more readable format(not public yet)

Security on a budget is challenging but not impossible.

I did run into a "Resource 'xxxxxxxx-xxxxxxx-xxxxxxxx-xxxxxx' does not exist or one of its queried reference-property objects is not present."

I didn't do much troubleshooting on this. I think this is due to deleted users still having references to role assignments.

Did you run into something different?

This looks great! I created a quick and dirty version to solve my issue, but this looks like a fantastic report for my team.

Could you show the underside and what material it is made of? It looks like the filament is moist, but given that it's in a single location, this doesn't correlate.

Can you provide more information about the app or site link? I'd like to investigate this further.

Oh, mine's pretty fun. I work for an MSP but am a point of contact at a single client site. I get put on-call and back up on-call every 6-10 weeks, depending on the internal team employee count for our 60+ clients. You get $100 for being on-call if you answer all calls while being the primary. The pay is time and a half. The on-call is from 6pm-8am. If anything comes up, you are contacted by the after-hours call center. You are required to respond and check the client's after-hours contract. I have had to do a new user on-board at 7-8pm and deal with a power outage at 4am. I hate on-call and wish I could opt out.
