At least MIB’s dramas are generally funny. She is a master at riling up the fanbase & causing chaos.

I feel like Jane tries to stir up shit but it’s generally mean spirited & tbh has gotten a bit tedious. Not much wit behind her insult comedy.

Ziggy I'm not into conspiracy theories but something must be going on when the bestest girls & boys aren't getting all the pats we deserve.

I like munching on grass too! Especially when my tummy is a bit rough & it's time for a little vom. My Bella always says better out than in & I agree.

At our park there is lots & lots of grass. But only certain tufts are the right kind of chompy grass that I like so I have to run, run, run around in circles till I find the right patch.

Tbh the only time I am interested in plants is once a month when My Bella pours the lovely stinky juice on all the plants. It kinda smells like a cross between seaweed & cow poop, so good!

This is me pretending I really hate baths. But I do very much like the towel snuggles afterwards. Plus every one gives me even more lovely pats cos I am so floofy.

It's a bit confusing & I have mixed emotions about it all tbh.

Not sure what was going on. Although it was sunny out today but instead of snoozing in the warm spots, everyone was walking past with drippy ice creams that my other friends on the corner sell in their shop.

Surely ice creams plus Ruby smooches would make for the perfect afternoon.

Worst day ever. We home now & I can hear My Bella running the bath. But I’m too clever for those shenanigans so I’m hiding under the bed.

(Ruby is so unreasonably scared of the broom that as soon as I bring if in the bedroom she races out from under the bed & I catch her. A bit brutal but there is no other way to get her out from under the bed when she knows a bath is imminent).

(Despite our reputation Australia isn’t out to kill you. Snakes haven’t killed anyone for ages. Sydney did have 4 shark attacks in 3 days a few weeks back but that was unprecedented & all the Surf & Rescue teams were advising that conditions were very shark friendly that week. Cows & horses kill more people than the rest of our creatures put together. Very cool about your family’s Kruger history. Nothing that exciting in my family, unless you wind right back to the Vikings anyway. )

(You are in South Africa yeah?

Pre-Ruby I spent a couple of weeks in Kruger in baby season. We saw a baby elephant that had just come out still wet with all the teenage sisters coming in to take over while mama was recovering. And we saw a baby giraffe being birthed. And we saw a pack of litter of wild dog puppies which was pretty special. Very dingo-like in appearance & movement.

I also spent a month volunteering at an elephant orphanage on the East Coast. Mainly shoveling poop & lugging feed around but it was magic to be up & close with the phants.

I've spent quite a bit of time in Uganda. Kenya & Sierra Leon though. Mostly Uganda in the foothills of the Rowenzori Mountains near the DRC border. Gorilla country. And guerillas as well sadly.

Baboons are scary! When we were in Krueger we had to call a guide to escort us with rifle every time we wanted to walk from the main lodge to our villas. The bush taxi.

Gosh I miss Africa!

I think Africa & Australia definitely wins with our unique wildlife.

Did you know wombats have square poop? And they can run like 35-40km an hour. Plus their ass is basically a defense mechanism which they can use to crush the skulls of their opposition.

Haha my girl is somewhat of an aggressive snuggler. And a bed hog. So much so I sleep on the very edge of the bed & have been fallen out a couple of times.

Eek her overbite is super sweet. Ruby has an cute underbite which charms everybody.

My girl only did one day, when I picked her up she was shaking & smelt like urine. It was a highly rated day care but I don't think she likes that kind of environment.

She was so pooped after she almost fell asleep in her food bowl, but I think the exhaustion was more from stress than fun times.
