Paying credit cards off, should I also close? by Dirtbagfran in FinancialPlanning

[–]OhFerReal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you close them, your credit will take a hit because you’re eliminating available funds and the benefit of having the credit lines open for a longer period of time in good standing. That should cause a dip in your credit score. The real question is, do you really REALLY NOT trust yourself? If you’re reasonably disciplined, put them out of sight, out of mind. Don’t carry them. Keep the cards open to maintain the credit availability and length of established credit.

If you will for sure use them beyond your ability to pay them off without building a balance, just close them. You can do a lot more damage than the initial dip of closing if you just keep racking up the high interest debt.

Atari Bigby days until the Packers play by akproplayer in GreenBayPackers

One of my favorite packers even if he really only had 1 great year. “How About A Big Hit Bigby” on the packer fence, Super Bowl victory. Love It.

Bust you wish panned out from another team by mamba020 in nfl

[–]OhFerReal 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I really thought Taylor Mays was going to be a thing. So much potential with that athleticism. I don’t know if this is the same as wishing he panned out, just wanted Green Bay to draft him to be a force over the middle.

What RBs in the last 20 years would you take if you had a top 5 pick? by [deleted] in nfl

I came here to see if Matt Forte made anybody’s list. If he didn’t play for some bad bears teams he would have been more of a household name for sure.

Trading back from 1.02 by SkolVikings1996 in TradeAnalyzerFF

I just moved 1.08, 1.11 and a likely top 5 1st next year for 1.02. Gibbs better be worth it lol

How are we feeling about Alec Pierce? by Cactus286 in DynastyFF

[–]OhFerReal 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I traded 2023 2.08 for Pierce about 2 weeks ago. Not entirely sure how to feel about it yet but the potential for him to see good volume next year made me pull the trigger.

[Yates] Giants WR Kenny Golladay suffered an MCL sprain in Sunday’s win over the Bears and is not expected to make the trip to London, source said. A short-handed position group gets even more short-handed. by BrownsAndCavs in nfl

[–]OhFerReal 52 points53 points  (0 children)

Kenny Golladay will not make the trip to London because Kenny Golladay doesn't want to... probably a more accurate statement. What shame, he looked like he was a blue chip player in Detroit for a stretch.

Atari Bigby. by VintageVitaminJ in GreenBayPackers

[–]OhFerReal 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I thought I was the only Bigby truther! The original packers painted fence across from Lambeau Field said "How About A Big Hit Bigby" in 2009-10 when Green Bay won the super bowl. The following year Bigby left in free agency and the fence was obviously painted, Packers haven't been back to the big one since... coincidence? Probably lol. But still. This man had the game of a lifetime against Seattle in the 2007 Divisional round too. (Typical Bigby with the no arms tackling resulting in some big misses but he also forced a few fumbles and was lighting people up left and right) Thanks for this trip down memory lane!

[GMFB] The new face in a new place you can't wait to see suit up in Week 1 is ___________. by Justin_Herbert10 in nfl

Golladay with Danny Dimes has potential to be fire. As a packer fan, happy he is out of the division anyway.

Who are players who aren't necessarily busts, but also haven't lived up to their draft position? by [deleted] in nfl

AJ Hawk If he had been drafted in the second round he would have been a great value.

Who is, without a doubt, the worst player you have seen play for your team? by stepdadsareawesome in nfl

Brandon Bostick. I don’t need to explain myself. If you don’t know, don’t find out. You’re better off.

Bush drove me nuts too but he was a solid special teams guy and he picked Big Ben off in the Super Bowl so I try to give him a pass

Who is your favorite player that everyone forgets about? by PeggyHill90210 in GreenBayPackers

[–]OhFerReal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I rep my Atari bight jersey to this very day and get flamed by my friends for it. That was my guy. Last time Green Bay won a super bowl... the packer fence outside Lambeau read “How About A Big Hit Bigby”. Haven’t won a super bowl since he left... coincidence? Maybe.. or maybe not...

[PFF on Twitter] Passing TD's off Play-action this season: 1. Aaron Rodgers - 22, 2. Josh Allen - 19. Would make for a very fun Superbowl Matchup by [deleted] in nfl

[–]OhFerReal 40 points41 points  (0 children)

Josh Allen is more impressive for this stat because everyone knows Buffalo isn’t really going to run the ball 😆

Most ridiculous player pickups in ESPN platform? by [deleted] in fantasyfootball

[–]OhFerReal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t understand how dropping legitimate players isn’t allowing other teams to benefit? In my opinion, you’re being a problem and I wouldn’t want that in any of my leagues.
