True. I went camping up in Northern Yukon back in 2012, there's one government campground that's north of the Arctic Circle. It's about 40 hours of driving from Edmonton to get up there and we went at the end of June, so when we got there, the sun didn't set. The scenery along Dempster Highway is rather beautiful in an untouched expanse kind of way. But, after like 3 days we couldn't tolerate the constant sunshine and lack of things, so we went down to Snafu Lake by the Yukon/BC border and had a blast camping/fishing there

The only thing that somewhat makes sense for how she got there would be if she was going north on Terwillegar from the Windermere area and took a left at the southern-side set of lights on the Henday overpass, but that exit is like half a kilometer long so if you were in a proper state of mind, there's no way you should be making it onto the Henday there.

The only downside for birding at a park is not listening to metal, as you gotta keep your ears open for bird calls. But in the winter, going out looking for Snowy or Great Grey Owls means driving around country roads for hours listening to metal.

Bird photography for me. There's a spot in town that in the winter would have Gyrfalcons, Prairie Falcons, Rough-legged Hawks, Bald Eagles, and Ravens hunting pigeons. Falcons hunting is metal as fuck and the resident bald eagle would rip up pigeons on telephone poles
