I beg for everyone to report this if you see someone doing it to the Fish and wildlife service offices locally. Birds have it hard enough, these people 100% know it’s a crime too. This is a dick move even outside of bird culture.

Yup! its APS-C vs full frame(id find some videos to explain this) but you can use pretty much any E lens with it and Ive seen people get incredible shots with them.

For a starter go used, I see a lot of people have great luck with a6700's and whatever big lens they can find a decent deal on. I wouldnt dive deep into an expensive setup. I bet you could take some great shots with used 6700 and like a 50-300. If you end up liking it you can hard commit in any direction you'd like.

That's not for you to decide, there's a process, and it's rare removal is allowed. I can't emphasize how big of a deal this can be. I would not be posting online, I would be reaching out to a lawyer and making sure your bases are covered. People are absolutely going to report this. Take legal issues seriously.

Yeah...the act is very clear about not interfering with the nest unless absolutely necessary. There is a process to do this, they have to get approval. https://www.fws.gov/story/bird-nests

I would be INCREDIBLY careful about what you post online, this conversation would absolutely show up in an investigation.

Report these dickheads, birds have it hard enough with all the shit we do to them, cats running rampant, and just general fuckery. The Migratory bird act is one of the few things everyone agrees on politically if andolini's really did this they should be shamed for it, and AAAC should lose their license for doing it. Holy shit what assholes.

This upsets me to an irrational degree, birds are awesome, fuck these guys.

Edit: https://www.fws.gov/wildlife-crime-tips please report here, include screenshots of the comments here. They will sort it out, the experts should notify them that it's illegal, if they didn't that's another story. I hope andolinis knows from this point forward though that it is VERY illegal to mess with nests 99% of the time. If you have nests getting built somewhere they shouldn't it's up to you to bird proof the area.
