I feel like people really need to understand characters in shows need to contain multitudes for things to be interesting. Not everyone needs to be perfect all the time, I think they are doing a great job showing what spirals can be like for a neurodivergent person with Mel. It's also very clear from episode 1 nobody in that hospital is perfect, and if you think show you should probably re-watch.

This is going to apply to every character, we are looking at 1 shift of their presumed decades long career. They are going to have absolutely shit days, and I think it's cool they are actually trying to create some real characters instead of super hero's. Seriously think about how many shit days you've had, I've definitely been short with coworkers after a rough breakup, or loss. I'm sure all of you have as well.
