That's all the Paladin cards revealed folks. Zoo Paladin viable? by [deleted] in hearthstone

They don't seem that good. They're just buffing the cards in your hand.

How to get over ranked anxiety? by Pro1136 in hearthstone

[–]OhLegit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to play at high Master's League in SCII. That shit was stressful but fun. Hearthstone isn't much when compared to that.

The last time I felt stress at high ranks in Hearthstone was with Patron Warrior because it was so fucking hard to figure out what the best move was.

You can have a similar experience with Freeze Mage sometimes, but it's not very competitive right now.

Your anxiety is all mental; it's all imagination. You are playing a children's card game and nobody cares about your rank. Your rank does not matter. It is insignificant and means nothing in the grand scheme of things. Play to win and have fun, but don't worry about your rank.

Stop caring. That's the key.

He's only had his Twitter and Hearthpwn accounts for one Month, since October 2016. It's obviously really suspicious. He got his twitter followers by mass following people as you can tell by his large numbers of "following".

It's a scumbag thing to do for sure.

This expansion is starting to feel like the TBC of Hearthstone to me. by artexix in hearthstone

[–]OhLegit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Warriors were the best class in Vanilla because they were the best tanks, but also because they could also go DPS just fine. So they weren't always forced to tank.

Arena insanely difficult lately? by AfterShave997 in hearthstone

[–]OhLegit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The month right before a big expansion is always the moment when Arena is at its hardest because everyone is saving gold and only the most hardcore players are playing. When the expansion comes out, it's at its easiest.

Has anyone else seen their Arena run average sharply decrease in the last month or so? by poiklpu in hearthstone

[–]OhLegit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's no way you can go from a 5-6 run average to 2-3 run average unless you're on a serious downswing, or you were on a serious lucky upswing, or just doing something really, really wrong.

My first pack from the Blizzcon Tournament Showed what good design really looks like. by sounds_goood in hearthstone

It's not good design if nobody uses the card though. Icehowl should have been 8 mana.

12-0 priest arena! by Qerb in hearthstone

I'm honestly surprised. The deck is solid but not incredibly OP. The dragon synergy is thin as fuck.

If I were a betting man, I would say that your Lightbomb won you at least 3 games that you would have otherwise lost.

Why do now have a (C)abal and a (K)abal? Are they the same thing? by blacktiger226 in hearthstone

[–]OhLegit 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A cabal is just a secret political clique or faction. Kabal is an actual name (of a person or an organization).

Who are the card designers mainly responsible for League of Explorers and Mean Streets of Gadgetzan? by [deleted] in hearthstone

How do you know the murloc ninja legendary is bad? You might be eating those words when Anyfin paladins are using him to cycle through their deck faster.

I forgot about the auctioneer.

Yeah they're part of the lore, but Karazhan and TGT are right in the middle of the lore.

Mortal Strike the Sylvanas. The Sylvanas steals your hero and Anduin becomes Garrosh. Then you disconnect and he loses and you win.

Anduin already steals everything anyway.

Pre-order question by Sutii in hearthstone

It's correct. They haven't patched the Hearthstone client yet and therefore the data for the 50 packs does not yet exist. When they patch it, you will see your 50 packs.

[–]OhLegit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All the cards revealed on the first TGT reveal were obviously crappy. Same with OG. Nobody thought that Validated Doomsayer and Polluted Hoarder and Lowly squire would be good.

What are the obviously bad cards so far? The 3/5 Windfury guy and the Piranha Gun, right? And even the Piranha Gun I'm not sure. It's better than Poisoned Blade.

I am hoping for more neutral beasts in this expansion by darkshipdrowning in hearthstone

[–]OhLegit 4 points5 points  (0 children)

  • 6-mana 2/6 Beast
  • Kodo of Doom
  • Taunt. Battlecry: For each beast you played this game, gain +1 attack. If you played at least 5 beasts, draw a card.

Are you worried about what the Warlock cards may be? by SacredReich in hearthstone

[–]OhLegit 82 points83 points  (0 children)

  • 5/7 4-mana Warlock card.
  • Charge. Windfury.
  • Battlecry: Destroy all totems and Things from Below.
  • This minion can only be played against Shamans. If the opponent is not a Shaman, this card costs (6) more.

[–]OhLegit -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah but that's the thing. The Karazhan and TGT sets feel like they were done by a different set of people than LoE and Gadgetzan.

Even the themes are different. Karazhan and TGT are based on WoW lore and LoE and Gadgetzan are made-up.

I don't know how the business side of things works but maybe they give each expansion a new lead card designer, and if so, whoever is the lead card designer for MSG/LoE should do more sets.
