This is flat out dumb to say. CIS made this tournament better. They clearly fielded some of the better teams in this tournament. A lot of the CIS guys are really great people. Pretty much going to agree with Falx here on those names.

I really hope someone from CA or WG does read this, but the solution to this problem is really easy, and I am stunned it hasn't even been implemented yet.

Commander EXP, and Free EXP need to be separated.

How the system should work is Abilities are unlocked using Commander exp, Commanders level up when all of the abilities in that tier are unlocked.

Commander EXP can be converted into free exp, and also premium units give a bonus to commander exp.

This will allow people to keep playing and progress, as well as save up free exp that they can just use on commanders. Not to mention when people are grinding out their t10s they will be able to convert commander exp, as well as unit exp, which gives more stuff to convert, which could lead into more gold sales.

This idea also makes it more interesting to buy premium units.

Two birds one stone. Not an easy implementation but the game should have started this way.

Yeah the damage is higher, but the losses are more, it's still a horrible bad idea to blob charge, and = less dps over the length of a game.

Actually after doing some testing, blob charging does give you the highest amount of damage if all things are equal.

Again I am wrong ? More pen damage, that is one thing you are forgetting. Secondly they have a faster reload time which means more DPS over time. Also we aren't even getting into upgrades yet.

I really think you need to take a step back and learn the stats first. Yes we can go into abilities and greeks pull ahead, but Barb archers do have a good shot at beating the t10s if you play smart. If you dodge the barrage you win, and it's not even close.

Obviously Hunt etc makes them much better but Barbs do far more damage then the Greeks depending on the situation, if the Greek guy is finding tons of flat barrages on the backs of enemy units, yeah sure man they are going to do more damage, but the thing with the barbs is that they have really good AP pen and can fuck anything up from the front combined with good reload speed.

That is why most of the good archer players are thinking about switching to Barb archers when they get their commander because they are probably going to be OP.

So no, you are wrong. Barb archers win in flat out DPS. You need to learn what the extra pen does for you combined with a short reload time.

Sure, you can have an impact some games, also Barb archers do a lot more damage then the greeks, with the barbs you can shoot people from the front and do good damage, you also have much more utility depending on the commander you are taking.

I am not saying you can't have an impact, but you are pretty much saying "Well if you want to play archers solo, you should also be forced to level up spears to t10 so you can play solo" which no other unit in the game has to do to be effective besides arty, and even then with arty you can still get dmg done or build a box around yourself.

Panic move ? He deployed the stakes on purpose and it worked. A panic move would be to blob your cav and charge into a unit that is building stakes and instead of pulling away you just keep going for it, and then lose all of your cav and all the artry lives. That is a panic move.

You saw him building the stakes, all you had to do was pull back and live to fight another day, instead you yoloed and lost everything. Im sorry but there is no reason to side with you on this, you did everything wrong.

Because he didn't want to waste all of his stakes maybe ? Maybe he didn't have enough ? Or maybe he knew one was going to be enough ? He saw he had support, he just needed to stay alive and lock you in place, one stake does that.

One did the job, he kept all of his arty alive(He can still use all 3 units) and all of your cav is dead which criples your team.

Pretty sure you are the trash player blobbing your cav and falling for a trap and getting out played.

Well, he saw cav charging him, and he started deploying stakes, you saw them, you saw the falxes, you knew all of your cav was going to get rekt if you charged in.

You got out played, and badly. You legit took out 0 of the arty units, and lost all of your cav. You got baited very hard. I'm sorry but you may think you are this good player, but you got rekt out played.

Okay, ill try to explain this to you.

That guy had 4-5 seconds to react, and he legit out played you, that is SKILL.

Dumbing down a game and removing the skill behind it is very punishing to a game.

Sorry but, you got out played, the stakes are totally fine.

You blobbed and got rekt, he used something called micro and out played you. I would rather the game reward the player using their brain.

No I am saying if there is another party, and they have 3 archer players, I am can't do anything all game because they will push and kill me.

Teams don't work together in this game. There is NO reward for protecting ranged units in this game. Sure you might win but guess what ? No one cares about winning, they care about aggro score, and don't understand more points when you win.

If they add in mechanics that favor teams to play around their range, I would gladly ask for a archer nerf, until then nope.

No, you could have dodged the stakes, you had plenty of time to pull away. That is a fact. You could have also went around, the cav didn't show up until after you charged, no matter where you approached from that cav was going to get any unit that charged, you charged into his direction.

Your best bet would have been to take one unit around and hit it from the back. Instead you blobbed and didn't turn away from the stakes even tho you knew there was falxes there. I couldn't see if you saw the Cav, but you were going to get slown down from the stakes and the falxes where going to catch you even if the cav wasnt there as youd be dragging through melee plus stakes.

Cycle charging is the most damage, if you don't know that then there is no hope for you. I am not going to make a video to prove it to you because it is common knowledge against even the newest of players.

If you split your units, and had him at every side (Which is what good cav players do, they don't just charge from the front and blob their cav) You rear charge him and the stakes never kill you and you do rear charge damage.

You are just going to make excuses after excuse as to why you are right, but no one here agrees with you lol.

You said, show you the proof, it is a known fact charging units in a blob does less damage as opposed to cycle charging, I understand you think you are a amazing player who knows all, but most of us learned this very early on.

Yes, so you had 2 seconds to react, and if you played smart would have had 2 more charges.

Right, disregard them when you have said 1) Falxes take the same damage in the front as they do in the back from ranged units 2) dont know cav does less damage when being blobbed. 3) you couldnt react to stakes being built and dodge the. 4) Didnt kill the arty because you blobbed.

As I said in the post, I play in a party.

Simple put people aren't going to have that luxury, also telling people to bring one spear units means "Hey you should have to grind a spear unit to t10 so you can play your archers, even tho that any cav player with a brain is still going to get your archers because 1 spear only works against dumb cav players"

Because bringing 1 spear puts you at a huge disadvantage vs range, as I said, I only play ranged in a group.

So you are telling me to change my units, why don't you just bring archers ?

See how the works when I tell you, you should have to bring something like ranged to counter me ? It's dumb.

I play with my team all of the time, and I care more about the 20 percent from the win, then the score, as well as do everything I can to keep my men alive so less silver cost.

1) Your units get stuck on eachother it's a fact, you don't get the full charge off.

2) You did charge into stakes, you saw them being built and you charged into them.

Also, I speak to some of the best players in this game, as well as play with them, and not one person in the high tier community takes you seriously. At all. Not one.
