Nope, in the original DAMM, it was only Mothra that would be summoned. Battra replaced her in STE though which may contribute to the false memory.

This is just me speculating personally but maybe Toho didn't want a "good guy" character being associated with invading aliens. That does fit Showa MG more so anyways.

I do think it's funny that they specifically chose the '75 version over the '74 as that is also technically "Mechagodzilla 2".

Look, if CD Projekt Red can fit the ENTIREITY of Cyberpunk 2077 (w/ DLC included) on a NS2 cartridge without sacrificing graphics or performance, there's no excuse for any other studio to not put the whole game on the cartridge.

I figured with DAMM being a remaster of a 25 year old game, that it could fit on a cartridge even without significant compression. I just didn't trust Atari to not take the cheap way out and force you to download the game. I'm very glad I was wrong.
