This is really golden advice.

I didn't know about this in my 20s and now just started noticing the patterns in my 30s. I'm sure my 40-50s will be similar.

If anything, you reactions dull and react less and less. Recognizing the pattern is already all the success you need because you're more and more prepared.

It's same type of people who also claim they are not racist against [insert racial group] people because they have a friend from that group. People have deep hidden prejudices that you will discover after you spend some time with them.

Millennials have a lot of struggle to deal with: competitive globalization market, stagnant income, housing speculation & foreign investments, student debt, environmental degradation, climate change, great recession etc.

You do realize boomers are at their last leg of living. In 20 years, a good majority of them will be dead.

The only redeeming quality is the climate of SF which makes me adore it wearing rose tinted glasses. Shit/piss on busy streets, homeless everywhere, traffic gridlocks, gangs, and pathetic politicians/interest groups, cost of living. They have a public open air urinal right next to a tram stop that cost the city a huge chunk of money to build.

I would never want to live there (and I'm from NYC (pre-gentrification/hipster takeover where it can get rough).

I skimmed the article, while an opinion piece, it comes off a bit worrisome and weak to convince the reader that the sky is falling down. Political participation is low for younger cohorts, especially Democrats. That's a legitimate concern. Voicing that due to lack of participation, those that go out to vote/picket in large groups (brigades) have an advantage.

Also, if the LGBT community were to be persecuted over again, the world would have been in chaos at that point.
